Kenya did not feel pity for him in the sense that he probably imagined, it was more that she knew how difficult it could be on your own -- she wanted to see him fully recovered so that he could enjoy his new life in this strange land. It was always like that for Kenya, she felt happiness in the success of others, and wanted them to see the best in themselves. When they travelled from the river to Spirane together, she made that clear for the most part, or she at least thought so. Kenya didn’t want Kogto to feel inadequate in any way because he was capable of whatever he wanted to do with himself.

After they made it to this new territory, Kenya did not get to see him too often. She liked to spend most of her time roaming around the edges and checking out new things, talking to whoever might lend her an ear. It was a beautiful place to call home but she would admit that she’d taken a mild interest in the gypsies wandering about. Their carefree nature, how they moved about, inspired her on a whole other level. Maybe she would meet some of them during this gathering and be able to figure out her place in this new world, that would ease her mind some.

Kenya moves quietly into the group, still cautious and submissive. She didn’t want to cause a fuss and despite her friendly, maternal nature she was quite introverted herself. When she spots Kogto sitting off to himself her tail wags happily, it was nice to see a familiar face again. The black masked wolf comes over to him, extending her muzzle to him, sniffing lightly at his shoulder beside sitting down beside him.

“You look so much better,” she says to him, “it’s very nice to see you again.” Kenya looks at the group starting to blossom around them and she nods her head, feeling a sense of contentment to be there but not quite part of everything. She quite liked sitting on the edges with Kogto. “I will admit, I was hoping we’d meet up again,” she says and gives him a little smile before turning her attention back to the festivities.
