Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

It seemed he had been caught off guard by her actions. She was slightly delighted but she would never admit it. As he spoke she was slightly taken back but refused to let it show. The firm nature of his voice intrigued her. It would be costmary to raise her tail in warning perhaps even considered a show of dominance, but she kept from losing her composure. As he lunged forward once more she opened her maw; should he choose his path to continue his teeth would meet with her own in retaliation. She wasn’t going to give in to this stranger that easily, he had not yet swayed her to do as he wished and she has a fighter spirit with an independent nature she has surely gained from her parent's.

He was larger perhaps not so much by stature but by weight alone. His sheer size would become a difficultly should he be able to pin her. She moved to try and counter the male trying to make herself look broader as she attempted the same movement he did to but solely to grasp his maw and hoped he was forced to bow. She couldn't help the desire to force this creature to the ground. She wouldn’t be swayed easily. If she should be successful she would question him and perhaps let him be; should she fail however, she knew she put her body in range of his own for him to potentially have a slight advantage.

Has something changed, his tactics perhaps? She knew not but she was determined not to bow this male. Would he force her to the ground only to stain her pristine fur with her own blood? Would it be her own death she would seal if he succeeded? Enya was not a fan of finding out this matter today. She had to force herself from her thoughts to concentrate on the matter at hand. She was certain she hadn't yet made it from harms way. Could this be a beginning or an end? She could not deny he was by far the most interesting creature she's met thus far.
