Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

The response that I get is not the one that I was anticipating. In truth I was expecting the wolfess to cower from my fury. I knew others thought I was a tornado about to tear them apart and sometimes I was. It was in my nature to be a feral, furious thing, and I was used to others accepting it and just dealing with my coarse nature. There is a nip to her tone that draws my attention in a more than curious manner, it is an admiring one as I burst from the den as she draws back. Just because she has a bit of a wicked tongue and temper didn't mean I was going to suddenly be nice to her. That was not my style. I needed to make sure she wasn't just trying to play it up anyways as I came bursting out. "What else would I be doing in my den at this time of the day?" I snapped back at her, glaring but perhaps behind the glare is a bit of amusement.

A low growl is sent to Morrigan at the slight threat (which was only expected because I had started it), and my green-gray eyes slip down her neck in a decidedly curious manner. Maybe a bit too predatory but I wanted her to know that I didn't care who she thought she as, I wouldn't go down without a fight. I was a bear she had awoken and everyone knew not to mess with a bear. It is all a game to me, testing her because she had given me someone worthy to test. Instead of cowering she fired back and met my own manner with a fiery one. "I suppose we will never know who would win, would we?" My voice is almost taunting as I grin suddenly, a flash of fangs.

Her next words surprise me and I don't hide it. I open my mouth before frowning hard at her. "If I come to Spirane I'm not coming as JUST a healer. I want to be THE healer. You know, I might as well have some infamy if I am going to be recruited from my perfectly comfortable den out here." So I wouldn't let her think this was easy. Besides, a chance at being noted among the wolves would do my ego swell, I think, for a time. "But my mate is coming with me." I say it firmly. She might get confused later if she asked and Grayson said he wasn't my mate but it was my subtle way of letting everyone know he was MINE, even if he didn't know he was mine technically.

She apologizes then, but I am not sure if she is being serious so I just scoff at her. "Its done now and I'm awake. I got things to get ready, okay? I know my way there. Give me a sennight and we will be there. I better be met with a grand celebration," I groused, although I was inwardly pleased at having been sought out by this woman. Now, what did Spirane think of their oncoming healer? Morrigan had better warn them.
