The shadowy, brooding figure carefully navigated through the foreign cave. The blanket of darkness almost seemed to pulse, alive, throbbing. Kylo was not born into darkness, but he had adopted it, and his soul was beginning to be molded by it. Still, something seemed to hold him back. The ghosts of his parents forever haunted the back of his mind. No, the varg internally scolded himself. You shall not return. If his cursed soul ever lay foot upon the grounds were he had made a permanent, dark mark, there would be no turning back. Kylo refused to allow his old life to consume his conscience. Although his mysterious mentor had disappeared for the time being, he strived to continue on with his sinister ways.

The monsters that consumed Kylo’s soul were double-sided. For a few moments, Kylo rested against the damp wall of the cave. He paid no mind to the creatures and critters that scampered in the darkness, possible predators stalking him from a distance. The onyx titan could not care less; no soul was any match for his fighting prowess in his mind. That exact same skill had led him to murder so many, betray and torture many more. Now, Kylo Ren was being torn apart. The varg simply had no clue as whether to protect his family and use that prowess for good, or to continue on with his murderous ways to please his master. Of course, this would be no easy choice.

It could possibly be an easier one for the torn brute if he had not gotten himself in this stupid dilemma. Ever since coming to this damn forest, he’d seemed to be getting himself lost nearly constantly. Who could’ve known that a cave could’ve ran this deep into the ground? Unknown beasts lurked in the darkness, ones that made even Kylo wary. Still, he showed no sign of fear nor tiredness, although all he wanted to do was find a comfortable nook and curl up. Perhaps a native to the forest would stroll by, though he found it unlikely; as far as he could tell, he was quite deep in the cave. Pointy stone structures dominated the airspace. Quite a few times, Kylo had narrowly missed having his flesh pierced by the pointy tips of the stalagmite. The varg attempted to keep his pawsteps as silent as possible, but with the stone of the cave, even the tiniest drips of water resonated throughout the system. If any friendly or unfriendly faces traversed through the cavern of secrets, they would know of Kylo’s whereabouts.
