During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

A M E I R A

Almost as soon as Ameira turned to return home, she was stopped by Artemis' vocals. 'Wait! You . . . You know what it's like . . . Please help me. I can't get him out of my head, I just want to show I don't need him though . . . It was so easy for Justice to just come and go in and out of my life so many times . . . He helped me in my times of need like no other would . . . He understood me like no other could . . . I just can't get over him. He was the one who helped me end my relations with my abusive mate, Christian . . . I'm nothing without him, no one's ever made me feel so complete than him . . .But he just up and left, time and time again . . . Without even so much as a reason or even a goodbye . . .Please help. I will go with you. Just please . . .' Ameira turned to her and pressed her nares against Artemis' coat, not in a maternal fashion, but more in a sisterly way.

When first she had come to Blossom Forest, she had assumed that this place would be Just like her home. The only different would be that no one here would know her name. Ameira was wary of everyone, not wanting to trust anyone or tell anyone who she was. If she had not met Horizon - if instead she had met someone cruel, judge mental, or perhaps simply someone who did not also have a rough upbringing, the chances were good that she would have simply passed Blossom Frest by. Somehow, he had put her at ease. It had been his shared knowledge and support - though blindly and unknowingly given - that had given her the strength and courage she needed to originally take over the ruling of Munashii Gekko in the first place. He had told her about a few of the packs, but none of them seemed a good fit for her. They were too large, too regimes... Too... something. What she needed was something out of the ordinary, somewhere where everyone could find their place. Where they could develop into the best version of themself without having to be terrified of judgment or restrictions. Ameira's one rule was respect. It was not just respect for her and her position, but respect for all things and all wolves. Each member in the pack had their secrets and you could not possibly know how or why they became who they currently were, so you should give them the benefit of the doubt.

But most importantly, and most applicable to Artemis, as respect for yourself. "Shh... Artemis Hush now. He cannot reach you here no he cannot support you here. You say that you cannot live without him, but here you are now. Without him. Perhaps it hurts and it is hard and it is painful, but the pain shows you that you that you are still alive." Ameira started to walk agin, going slowly as she limped slightly, her shoulder a dull throb. "Until you are strong enough to stand on your own four paws, I will be your rock. Tor and Fenris know I have my own shit to work through, but we are kindred spirits. Our circumstances are different, yes, but it matters not. We will be sisters - I feel it. And sisters are there for each other through thick and thin, or so I have heard." Her lips curled as she offered the lassie a smile, though her brows were furrowed with worry. "Now come, let us get you home. We shall wee if we can find Mink, yes? She is our resident healer, or so she has told me. Let us see if we can find her and get at least our physical messes cleaned up." The other wounds - their emotional ones would take much, much longer.

Once more, she began to return toward her home. Her pack. Mud stained her from her knees downward and blood stained the rest of her. Her pure snowy pelt was hardly visible. They travelled mainly in silence, Ameira waiting to see if Artemis had anything to say.
