Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

Blaire
XX - one - loner - fateless x heartless

The world was her playground now, and it seemed life was going great for the young female. She was her own pack and it was up to her to watch her own freckled back. But it was always nice to have some company, and as she splashes in the shallows of the river a new scent blows from further upstream, her black nose points to Spirane as she sniffs. With perked ears and a curious black sniffer Blaire picks up her wet feet and moves out of the water and away from the muddy bank. With a pink tongue lolling from her mouth, she gallops towards the odor of the strange female.

After picking up her scent on the floor, tracking the stranger became much easier. She remains tentative, trying her hardest to step lightly and remain quiet and vigilante. If her thick white coat had been clean it would do her no favors here, nor would it until the arrival of winter. What was once a solid white is now slightly tinted with dirt and grass stains. Still, she lowers herself to the ground to try and hide herself in the long grasses that surrounded her.

The smell of blood is a coppery scent that fills the air and the muted sound of a dozen rabbit feet reach her black filled ears. One unlucky enough to bolt by her soon meets it’s death with a quick pounce and a snap of her jaws. Softly gathering her kill, she continues to follow the stranger's trail which has begun leading back to the river. Before long, the fem’s dark brown coat comes into view. Blaire drops the rabbit from her mouth and it gives a light thud as it hits the ground. The white girl gives a light bark as her lowered tail wags happily behind her. Her thick white coat is rugged and dirty, sticking out at odd stiff angles in some spots but the dirt is easy to see on her blank canvas. She keeps her distance and her voice is light and cheerful, ”Hello there! Mind if I join you?”
