Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Viserys
four - iblis x rhae - diveen
He enjoyed watching her move. For some it would inspire jealousy, but Viserys was happy simply because she was able to do something that she enjoyed. He believed that he would enjoy it too, if his hindquarters would allow him to truly run- not the lopsided gait which was what constituted running for him. And so he certainly didn't mind when she jogged up ahead, his tail simply waved in the breeze and he simply thought how lucky he was to have a close friend like her. It was curious, he thought, looking at her, that two opposite wolves would come to be so close. She was wild, like fire, while he was peaceful and serene, water. Unlike some he sought not to dim her flame, but to encourage it. Too many had their spirits trampled, and he would not be the one to trample hers.

Viserys chuckled at Ankh's surprise, his tail giving a few amused wags. "Yes way." He said, teasingly, laughing along with her. He had an inkling that she wouldn't find this nearly as enthralling as he did, but he was happy to speak of it all the same. "Blood for blood, what's done is done. One peculiar fellow said those words. Others spoke of their pasts and how it might have been handled back where they had come from." He continued walking at an even pace, glancing at Ankh every so often. "What price can you put on a wolf? Some said the weight of a wolf is his effort, or the things that he puts into society. Others said that there is no value that can be placed on life."

He paused in his stride and looked at her as she went quiet. Perhaps she did not think that her answer had merit, but Viserys saw within her words a wolf that could be just as smart as those who had gathered, if only she'd apply herself. "I like your answer." He said simply. He would not like her if she were dumb or content with mindless drivel, and though she may not think of such things often it was clear that the capacity for knowledge was there, and that was all she needed. If the cream-pelted wolf could fill her head with ideas of something beyond their own mortality, he thought that would be a job well done.

"And what of love, Ankh?" Viserys asked, changing the subject, a smile tugging at his maw. "What gives us the capacity for love? Does and bucks mate, but it is clear that they do not think and speak as we do. How does love differ from primal instinct?" He was, perhaps, using philosophy as a cover. She may not understand his words completely, but there were only a few reasons that he would pick this for a topic of conversation. He gave her a moment to respond before responding to his own question. "Love is the concept of eternity, I think. The idea of spending the rest of your life with another. The idea of perhaps creating something that will live on long after you have died."
