Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Despoina
A Little Missunderstood

Despoina watched the one eye open, and the woman’s assertion came to her ears, bringing a smirk to her face. The expression only deepened as Eleanor got to her feet and jumped off the log. An odd peace came over her when she was in the other’s presence. She saw her as someone who had taken her for what she was, but also would not take hesitate to snap back. Slate eyes glistened and she licked her lips, a certain excitement stirring in her chest. “And maybe I never well.” Her lips cracked in a smile and her tail gave a single wag, lessening the blow of her words though her voice was a drawling growl.

During the silence and while Eleanor spoke, Despoina jumped to take the other woman’s place on the fallen log, a little wary of her own reactions to being too close to her. Turned away, the grey could not see the frown that flickered across Despoina’s face, nor the concern that ignited in a flash in her slate gaze. She gritted her fangs against herself. When she turned back around her face was passive once more. “I am of Iromar, yes.” She confirmed nonchalantly. A subtle loyalty ran through her blood to the mists and moors of Iromar. A loyalty she would try to deny, just as most other things she felt inside her that could be used against her. Even in her home she remained aloof, separate from the rest of the pack.

“No mate, pack, or friends…” She repeated, tone hollow and betraying nothing of her initial reaction. “Pity your pretty face wasn’t enough to convince someone to take you in.” It was not her place nor her position to do so. There was not much doubt in her mind that it could actually lead to trouble. She was never much one for rules, anyway. “The moors are at least warm in the winter.” She commented off handedly. Now she jumped back off the log, stepping too close to Eleanor; tempting and challenging herself with the proximity. “If all else fails, I am sure we could find you somewhere to sleep. You might get your paws wet though.” She had in front of Eleanor, head to the side, smirk firmly in place to see if she would rise to the challenge.
