My S
Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

She enjoyed the taste of the blood upon her chiseled maw as she destroyed the young life. Reality was filled with life and death. This she knew- and youth was not to be excluded from this cycle. Not everyone was guaranteed to live to the point where their bones grow brittle. She had the second kill, the offering, right next to her. She questions him as to why he brings her the offering. The woman is used to bringing her own offerings to the True Angel- but she is no longer here, gone elsewhere. Her mind twisted and turn as her eyes continued to look at the dark male before her.

She did not hesitate with her stare and it remained ever intense as the wind gently brushed up against her black-topped fur. She felt odd sensation. She felt that things were changing. She felt a power she had not quite felt before. It was a power she would attribute to the True Angel...perhaps, Phaedra was dawning upon truth itself. Her ears quickly dart forward once his silence breaks. His words resonate and dig into her mind. She put sun and moon to shame, the sources of light. Light is life, and yet, life has another energy all its own.

Her eyes narrow in response to him saying she took something of his. She feels her fur bristle slightly as birds call in the distance. Perhaps she did take something. An energy, the shadow from his flame. He speaks a word she does not know or understand, turning his gaze which causes the amazon of a woman to lift completely upon her dark limbs. Why does he divert his gaze? Her strong, wild face does not break away from him as his words continue to flow. It causes her head to tilt, how she is light just as he is the dark. The balance of things. Her head rolls slightly, as if it often does, as she then strides over closer to him.

She moves her head down and around to meet his gaze once more. She seeks to judge his eyes, to observe the darkness of his fur. She turns her head from one side to the other, blood still touching her muzzle. She is light to him- just as the True Angel was once light to her. She must be the Truth to him- she must have gained it from the True Angel herself who no longer graces this land. Perhaps, Phaedra was meant to inherit this. She returns her head between her shoulders, head lifted high and mighty.

"Truth has been found. You have been saved. You have found light, the energy, and now that you have found Truth in me, you will not be alone," she commands, her voice booming. She was not particularly feminine in any sense of the word. She was a beast, a warrior in every sense as many in her family, such as her little mate Shiloh- a sister she had not seen in many, many moons. Oh how different she turned out than the rest of her blood, how she does not even know if her sister would turn to the light like this one before her had. She comes to realize as she looks at him, that the odd word he said before was perhaps his name.

"Nogitsune, of shadow, of night which you can become. I am Phaedra- lift your head, less you explore the wonders of the small worlds between our paws," she says, sitting upon her sunset haunches, taking a moment to look down herself. It was hard to resist, eyes focusing in on grass and dirt, the slight movements they give with even the intensity of her own breath. Few gave appreciation for such things, but perhaps he would be different. She returns her gaze to him.

"Where is it your blood hails from?" she asks, seeing his shadow and blood coat. Her siblings had gained such coloration from their father and mother combined, but she sensed that perhaps...he is no Angel.
