Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Mihr
Zero ~ Male ~ Him to Love ~ Her to Hurt ~ Angel of Diveen

So far, Mihr had been able to out run the waves as they came crashing back onto the sandy beach. But his luck was about to run out. The pup knew nothing of the strength of the ocean or the power of the tides. He didn’t realize the sea changed and what had been small waves grew into larger ones. It was one of these that chased after him as he ran back to dry land with his tail tucked between his legs, but he was too slow and it snatched him into a soaking wet mess. For a confusing moment, he didn’t know what was happening, but then the waters receded again leaving him wet and whimpering on the sand. It didn’t end there. There was only enough time to shake himself before something struck him from behind, sending him face first into the dirt.

She was there quite suddenly, a tiny ball of pure silent fury. Mihr was no stranger to her body language and at once he tucked his tail as far between his legs as he could, crouching low with his ears pinned back. Why was she so mad at him? Was it because he let the ocean get him? Pink eyes avoided her as he tried to make sense of what was going on. Should he say something to her or would that just make her even more angry? Just then, another girl appeared and her growl echoed loudly in her chest. At once, she began demanding answers as she sat beside her sister.

The angel boy could only whimper for a moment before he realized they were waiting for an answer. “M-my name is Mihr. I just came here to see what it was like! I p-p-promise, I didn’t mean to let the water catch me. I’m s-sorry! I just want to go home to my m-mommy!” His voice was full of fear and confusion as he choked back several sobs. This wasn’t what he wanted at all and now that he was trapped by two other wolves, not to mention soaking wet and stinky, he just wanted to return to his den and snuggle next to Mom with his sister, Kafziel. But now he was at their mercy.
