Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

got a hole in my soul,
growing deeper and deeper,
When it came to situations like this, Eloah truly felt she had all the patience in the world; she'd wait all night if she had to and if that waiting meant she had the opportunity to discover new or profound. Of course, she had to admit that she'd rather it happen sooner rather than later. Waiting had always paid off though. Others might argue that she had to stand up and find interesting things and yet, why? Idle ears and eyes still saw and heard and an idle wolf was easier to find anyway. She had simply made herself bait - slightly less idle in that regard.

And so, she had gotten comfortable on her wooden ledge; her paws dangled and her tail flopped lazily behind her. She had a fair face, one constantly alive with a small, sneaking grin as her eyes roamed the woodlands beyond. Her ears quivered instinctively towards the treeline as the sound of a paw or two broke the hum of the birds and leaves; though her ears twisted immediately, it took a moment or two for her eyes to follow suit. In her typical fashion, she met him immediately with wide, devious eyes and captivated eyes. He hardly seemed the type to come.

His words came without subtlety, gruff and brash as a single ear of her own turned towards the sound of a bear. She hummed to herself for a moment, her lips pursed in thought as she rocked her head slightly from side to side in feigned thought. "That would be tragic, wouldn't it?" She finally mused with a sigh, hefty and full breathed as she flopped down, her head rested upon her paws as she stared into the older male.

Suddenly, her ears flattened back, her eyes widening slightly; she might have looked afraid had it not been for the slightest hint of her teeth as they poked through her smile. "Think you could watch that happen though, old man?" She toyed with her words, light and airy in their delivery and yet she moved to mirror his brashness back at him. "I mean," she began after another moment, lulling onto her side with a stretch, her injured paw pushed further out now as she flopped it lazily, as if bringing it to his attention once more, "you came all this way for a damsel in distress, no?" Perhaps she had been wrong. He didn't look the type perhaps and yet, who could really tell who had a taste for suffering?
