Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Asking where she had lived, it was strange but not nearly anything too odd. Or so the she-wolf herself hoped at hearing the words. Amber had been many places many times, so it was never anywhere that long. Thinking on it, she remembered the tundra. It was icy cold, with an almost constant wind and no sign of trees. They had dug dens out of snow and slept under it, only for nature to cover them up like a blanket. There were the forest, in many seasons, and different types of forests at that. Forests which turned golden, red and orange a time of year, and others with needles, no leaves, and the things dropped around the clock. Plains, with is green to golden grass, almost tundra-like during the winters.

But a desert? She'd only been in one for a few days a year, and that was because it was on the way to a beach area. Deserts were baking hot, and Amber herself remembered being forced to travel at night as much as possible, or face blistering heat when they couldn't dig fast enough. Or face the snakes, which were better asleep than awake, honestly.

"Desert. Yes, I've been in one. You have to travel at night or the heat will kill you. That or a the snakes" her voice had an interesting tone, as if she was speaking to nothing, and she liked nothing. Nothing never judged, after all. Narrowing her eyes at the pup, the she-wolf only hopped it wouldn't risk it's life trying a desert out.
