The young female’s fur stood on end, hairs bristling as she growled by the side of her queen. She was not entirely sure what was going on, but from how Sebring was acting she didn’t want to waste time finding out. She knew that the alphess was not a violent being, and if she felt that she needed to threaten this male that was in front of Hellene’s den, then Khaleesi could only assume that he was a threat. And she would always help defend her pack and packmates, even if she didn’t fully understand what she was defending them from. It was not her place to question Sebring, but to trust that she knew what she was doing. A bark from behind her caught her attention, but she didn’t turn to look. She recognized those vocals as her mother’s, and didn’t need to see the healer to know it was her. The stranger was greatly outnumbered, three healthy vargs to one. And then of course the other two lupines were there as well, though they may not be much help if it came to violence. Khaleesi did not know what the stranger was going to do, but so fat he had done nothing but just stand there. Then the snow white form, similar to her own, spoke up, calming the situation down. "Leave him be for now. He did no harm to us." When Aindreas rose to join the group, Losa finally stirred and spoke, “Wait, Aindreas . . . don’t go . . .” Khaleesi ignored her for a moment, her green orbs looked to Sebring out of the corner of her eye, and when she saw the alphess relax, she did as well. She didn’t have much interaction with Aindreas, but it seemed that Sebring trusted his word.
As Aindreas spoke to the stranger, it seemed that he knew him. "Losa is alive and shall be fine. I am sure she would be relieved if she woke to see you." Now that it was clear that a fight was not going to break out, Khaleesi turned her attention to the injured vargs, asking their permission if she could inspect their wounds before doing so. The brute was still conscious enough to respond, "Aye, that... That will be... Fine…” She nodded to him, letting him lie back down now that the danger was gone. Her nares carefully poked and prodded every inch of him, wanting to see where there were obvious injuries that she could already see, and where deeper, more hidden wounds could be hiding. She was careful not to cause any unnecessary pain to the brute though, that wasn’t her goal. She then moved to Losa’s smaller form, being careful with her as well as she examined her. Guilt washed over her when the other female expressed the pain she was in, “What’s happening? My leg, it hurts . . .” Khaleesi whined an apology, not wanting to hurt the ess any more than she needed to to examine her. Audettes swiveled to catch her mother’s words when Hellene took charge of the situation and began to give out orders. "Sebring, drag Aindreas out of there, the idiot had the gall to have a flare for dramatic and blocked the entrance. Then I need you to help me dress his wounds as we practiced, mix everything in your poultice as he cannot eat it. Khaleesi you do the same the faeling within - Losa was her name. Be tender and gentle, her day has been worse than you could ever imagine. As for you, sir. If you know anything about healing then help, but if not then sit down and shut up until I have time to deal with you. One wrong move, buddy, and I will make you minced meat and make you fertilizer for my garden."
Before Khaleesi could get to work making up a poultice for Losa’s wounds, the female had lurched to her paws, suddenly and awkwardly. The femme looked on in surprise, not expecting her to have done that, but when she heard her stumble out a name, she could only assume she was trying to get to the stranger. Apparently his name was Hurricane, and Khaleesi didn’t want to get in the way of their reunion and gave them a moment to themselves before she would intervene. She did not need to go and interrupt them though, as Losa made her own way back to Hellene’s den, slowly and awkwardly though. Her form went back to the ground, exposing the large laceration on her side. “Is lying like this okay?” Khaleesi gave her a smile as she padded over. ”Yes, that’s perfect thank you.” While the other female had been talking to her friend, Khaleesi had gone over to where her own herbs where, as her den was next to Hellene’s, and grabbed what she would need for the poultice to cover the wounds. It was a familiar taste now as she chewed up the leaves and moss and poppy. She was careful not to ingest anything, but brought over some more poppy to give to Losa as well.
Her nose pushed the poppy towards Losa, instructing her to eat it. ”Here Losa. This is poppy, it will help with the pain. I’m Khaleesi by the way.” She had never met this femme, and was not sure if she knew anyone in Aurora, but having a name could help make her feel more comfortable. Before covering the wound though, Khaleesi needed to clean away the dirt, debris, and dried blood that had gathered. Her tongue carefully began to clean the wound, trying not to be too rough but making sure that she cleaned it thoroughly. Once the wound was cleaned to her liking, she began to paste the poultice over the wound, making sure that it was no longer bleeding and that it was all covered. Green orbs focused back onto Losa, remembering that she had said that her leg hurt. ”Losa, which leg hurts? Does anything else hurt?” Occasionally she looked over to her mother, in case there was any other guidance or instructions that she could offer.
