Morrigan looked at him openly, nodding along to his words.
"I enjoyed the challenge of being your second... perhaps it is in my blood, to be a part of something bigger than myself. But I understand your reasoning, and I'm glad that you feel free, now." She said with a small smile. It was true, though, even in her youth she had belonged to something- a family, and then a band of assassins, and then the gypsies, and then a pack- perhaps she would return to the gypsies this day. Or perhaps at the end of the season she would bid farewell to them and settle down within Spirane once more. Who was she to think to the future?
His eyes upon her seemed to be making her blood boil in a peculiarly pleasant way and she couldn't help but look at him with muted desire in her eyes. They were already close, but there were things to bring them closer and yet she still hesitated. His words, however, proved to her that they had the same thing on their minds. She stepped closer to him, teasing, daring.
"And what is it that you want, Roman?" Morrigan said, her tones almost purring as she reached to him, opening herself so he may touch her if he wishes.
She was no den-maiden, made to stay at home and care for pups and provide just a comfort for a male.... but she was sure that was not what he wanted. And she was no perfect female mate, providing support and affection whenever she was called upon. It might be that they were good for each other, with no expectations of what was usually desired. No, she held no expectations of him, no desire to be bound together in heart. She simply wanted to keep him close... no matter if he chose to spend the night away with another.
