Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

The young girl's paws slowly brought her forward. With her auds laid back on her head, the nervous little lady slowly made her way towards the border of Bright Moon. Now, why would a young pup like Puanani be traveling by herself like this to unfamiliar land? One might think she was crazy, one might think she was in need of care. Sure, family was what Bright Moon was all about. She'd heard everything about this from strangers she'd met along the way and she hoped that they would be caring enough to take in a girl like her. However maybe not. She didn't know these wolves full intentions. Did the rely on fighting skills.. or family strength? She'd hopefully find out eventually.

Finally her body stopped as she could scent the border of these unfamiliar territories. Adoption Meadows was a ways back and she could scent the River that was far up ahead. Travelling there could be dangerous but she didn't care. She'd been through enough. Her mother and father both died from sickness a long while back, along with her older brother Tonto. She missed them all dearly but learned to survive on her own. This made her much too wary to actually trust others.

But one thing was true. She couldn't keep doing this. She needed some comfort in her life. Puanani stopped, sitting down on her behind as she let out a soft howl into the air, hoping some wolf would hear her. Maybe? Hopefully. Her nervousness and anxiety levels began to raise. What if they weren't nice? What if they were cruel? What if they didn't want to take her in? What if . . What if . . These kept running through her mind before she finally stopped them and looked down at her paws. Her black feet were kneading the ground and her orange fur spiked along her back. Calm down, Pua.. she thought. Most wouldn't dare hurt a pup.. would they? Once again.. a would. She shook her head and pushed her thoughts out of her head. Puanani instead sat there. Waiting. Hoping.
