Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Perhaps she wanted a few more moments alone but she knew a time would come when someone would grow too curious. He made little noise getting to her and yet she could feel a slight warmth and heat radiating off of his frame, her lips lifted showing the tips of her teeth, her eyes catching a glimpse of the boy her muscles could coiled and ready to strike not even a snarl left her maw. She turned, jaws agape and at a half stand ready to strike at the creature but his question forced her to stop.

She she drew herself to her paws looking at him with almost a perplexed gaze. Enya stepped back slightly snapping her jaws shut shaking her head slightly. “I do not belong here. I use to call this place my home a long time ago but I do not belong here anymore. I do not call packs homes. My mother and father spent the most time here.” She sighed looking back to the sea before moving to sit back in front of the crashing waves unafraid of the boy behind her as she settled back down close to him.

Enya breathed a sigh but it wasn’t content perhaps more unpleasant to say the least as she wandered back into her thoughts. “Erebos, is it then? Perhaps, it would be the time I would give you my own name and yet we will save that for later, my question for you is why do you carry that thing?” She wasn’t harsh in her tone and yet she was firm one doesn't play with their food and perhaps it frustrated her so that he did at least she could always figure out why.

Perhaps Enya did not entirely regret almost snapping at the boy but at the same time his nature compelled an investigation into his mind, part of her wished to turn and pry. Study the boys features but she kept herself occupied only listening for the smallest of movement or the boys response to her questioning. “You have a family and yet do you really? You have a pack but for what reason?” Her question was more rhetorical and yet in some ways she wanted an answer as she took the time to gaze at the boy questioningly.

Turning her gaze catches on a figure in the distance, she had long forgotten the boy from the river side and never assumed to see him again despite her wish to and yet she only saw this new figure in the distance as a threat to her conversation but as the frame made no attempt to approach her eyes flickered back into the sea her minds inter turmoil eased by the churning sea.
