Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

senketsu
three - homeless - heartless - soulless

Senketsu was not far from his companion, trotting swiftly through the woods on legs made for a dancer. He was enjoying their adventure with a fervent passion, wanting his deep crimson eyes to take in all the sights of the world. The spindly male missed his family and his own home, but it was overcome by the desire to see and experience everything the world had to offer. They had passed through beautiful forests and mountains, seen great lakes and impossibly wide rivers. He wondered why his family had not explored sooner, why all the stories and legends were contained in one area. There was so much to do and see out in the world and although he somewhat longed for stability these past moons had been the most exciting of his young life.

He stopped his trot, sniffing around in the forest, nosing the snow to reveal plants and bugs that had become buried beneath it. Senketsu wasn't exactly sure what he was doing, simply passing time really, trying to see if there was anything interesting hiding beneath the snow. Unfortunately, he didn't have much luck, as it appeared that these lands had been enduring winter for quite some time. Most things were dead now, and that wasn't much fun at all.

Grey ears swiveled to catch the call and Sen lifted his head, crimson eyes peering through the trees. He followed the direction of Meteor Rain's voice to see the slightly older brute flopping about in the snow. The male raised an eyebrow and a small, amused smirk came across his maw as he approached his auburn and tan friend. "Feel what?" He inquired curiously, although if he had to take a guess it was the distinct sense of belonging here, as if they had reached the end of their travels this abruptly. "You mean that strange, excited feeling?" He leaped forward in the snow as Meteor turned to face the mountain, and for a moment Senketsu was caught off guard.

Were the stories true? Had they found the lands of their ancestors? His ears flicked back to catch the whisper and he couldn't help but chuckle especially as his friend flopped back in the snow in dismay. "I think you said it wrong. Try again." His eyes sparkled with humor but for all the teasing Senketsu was wondering if this was truly the mountain. They hadn't particularly been searching for it but perhaps it was fate that had placed them here. Although the mountain didn't look much like a wolf. It looked perfectly ordinary, in fact, and it only led him further away from the stories that they both had been told since puphood.

"I wasn't being creepy." Senketsu said adamantly. "I was just looking around. These lands feel fresh and powerful and there's the scent of many wolves on the air. I think we may have stumbled upon something, friend." Although he might not have believed it was the mountain, it was certainly a mountain which led him to believe that there were perhaps packs and the like here that populated the area with wolves. "It's exciting, isn't it?" He pounced around a bit in the snow before flopping beside Meteor Rain, nipping playfully at his friend while squirming around belly-up in the cold white snow. They had always made time to play, no matter what and today seemed like it would be no different.
