Some are born great
Some achieve greatness

Vladimir:
Vladimir was annoyed, to say the least, that he was being played the fool. How could they accept this stranger into their pack? He knew that all members started out as strangers in the beginning... But this one was the younger sister to the femme who declared that she was trying to take over a pack... And somehow his parents had been supportive of it all. Once he had been silently reprimanded, the princeling had sat in silence, staring his new playmate down. But his arctics did not see her as a playmate at all - no... His pools saw her as the enemy. An intruder. A spy set inside of their boundaries with the sole purpose of gathering information. She could not be trusted, and he would make that statement very well known to his brother Castiel just as soon as -
'Wanna come play with me and Vlad? Unless he’s just gonna sit there and stare into the distance, then me and you can just go play!' Wide eyes pulled themselves from the she-spy and fell upon his brother, who promptly nudged him, setting him off balance and causing him to stumble a step to the side. "Castiel, what -" Once more, he was cut off as his brother spoke again, this time to the faeling's older sister. 'We’ll take good care of Seraphina while you’re away Ms Dante!' Vladimir shook his head, dark pelt shivering with the motion. They would take real good care of her, for sure. They would be taking care of her such that she would never live to speak the knowledge she would steal!
The soon-to-be-Queen-of-the-stolen-land returned monologues, speaking of her mischievous ways and promising to return before embracing her miniature shadow. How was it that he was the only one to see her for who she truly was!? Everything had already been stated aloud! But then Dante turned to leave and Seraphina neared the brothers, speaking excitedly to Vladimir's brother before promptly insulting the elder brother. 'Yeah, let’s go play Castiel! We don’t need Vladimir if he’s just gonna sit there like a lump.'
Scoffing he inhaled sharply to speak a quick retort. "I'm not a lump I just - " Kalgalath brushed the tips of his hairs against his son, and when Vladimir glanced up it was to meet his father's stern gaze. The rest of Vladimir's words turned instead into a cough. "...I wanna play too."
Kalgalath:
Kalgalath nodded his approval before turning toward Seraphina. Briefly, his gaze flittered across to land upon the fleeting form of Dante. Part of him wanted to send one of his own warriors with her to aid her in her endeavors... But that was just who he was. Always Kalgalath was trying to help others, and too often he helped those who either did not need help or should not have received it. He hardly knew the fae, and they had agreed to care for her sister because it was the logical thing to do. If she was to gain this land, she would need wolves, yes... But in order to rule the land, she would need their respect. How much respect would she gain if it was upon the backs of outsiders that she won the land? To ask for help was one thing... But defeating this foe by working together would bring them ever closer together in a way that few experiences could. No... None of his wolves would bleed for her ascension to the throne, but once she acquired the throne they would indeed help her keep it. The mottled grey lord did not doubt for a second that there would be injuries, and could only be thankful that he had healers - for indeed there was more than one now - who would be able to help the Warriors should they succeed in their endeavors.
'Thank you for letting me stay here.' Kalgalath dipped his head. "Of course, little one. Now, your name is quite a mouthful, but if you prefer that it is said in its entirety, I shall of course be happy to oblige. My own name is longer as well - Kalgalath. Most of my friend's call me Kal - which you are welcome to do as well. So, what shall it be, Princess - Seraphina? Sera? Fina?" He smiled softly down at her, trying to bite back a laugh at the stern facade upon Vladimir's face. Though his boys perfectly complemented each other, alone they were at the extremes of the spectrum. The King could only hope that the presence of an outsider would ease the harshness of Vlad's personality and calm the fierce storm within him.
The fae and Castiel bounded off, but Vladimir held back, torn. Kalgalath lowered his maw til it was by the princeling's audette. "Vladimir, my boy... She is no threat. Not all that come to our borders are. I understand you are new to the ways of the pack, having just spent only a day outside the boundaries of the den... But you must learn this fast or alas I fear you will be short of friends when you are one day my age. Go play with them and try to hold back your judgements, your accusations. Just get to know her and maybe you will even end up learning something new about yourself."
Vladimir:
The prince's auds wilted - even though his father's words were soft, they were still yet another reprimand, and the Prince felt as if he could do nothing right. Since he had left his parent's den, he had been doing one wrong thing after another... When would it end? When would he finally be right? Inhaling deeply, he stuck out his chest, trying to strike a powerful figure, but let loose his tail this time, his pride for now curbed. Pushing off against the ground with his back paws, he loped awkwardly after the pair of pups just in time to hear the faeling. 'I haven’t been around pups my age in forever! So what should we play?' Vladimir hesitated for a moment, but then blurted out an answer. "Angels and Demons!" He backed up a step and hesitantly raised his eyes to meet those of the princess. "It's one of me and Castiel's favorite games. He always plays Castiel and I play Gabriel... We don't usually let anyone else play with us... But you could if you wanted..."
