Hunger clawed at her belly, and she couldn't find a single thing to eat around here. Snow was still here, no matter how much she wished it would stay, there were vague signs of it leaving. There was a bit more water running about, and a few open caves around, but nothing that really stuck out to the snowy wolf. Her foresty green eyes scanned the land, walking slowly along as to not miss anything. It was so annoying to have to search for some things, but at times, it could not helped one bit. Turning her head, Amber spotted something that would befit her search quite a bit.
Many wouldn't see it, but there was crumpled, overturned snow near some bushes. Around it was somewhat a wolf imprint, like a smaller two year old. Of course, the wolf had been stalking prey, and had gotten something due to the blood in the snow, clearly a lot, but not enough to be overly big. Some type of rodent. Lowering her muzzle, the she-wolf caught a faint smell, but ti was too faint to trace. Not really needed, considering the drips of blood lead onto a rockier part of the land. That's where she found her scent.
A younger female, two years old, a wolf with a rabbit kill, had wandered into the cave. Not wishing to enter without announcing herself, Amber took a seat at the mouth of the caves and crossed her legs as she lay down. Hopefully the echo was go, and hopefully laying down helped the matter a bit.
"Hello?" she called in, her voice rough and bit unused, and partly static. Maybe a tiny bit curious, but nothing more. Thankfully, it was a strong voice, and Amber smiled briefly at hearing the echo dancing down the caves.
