Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

LIKE A WALK IN THE PARK, LIKE A HOLE IN YOUR HEAD
Ehiyeh took a precious moment to compose herself, bringing her breathing to an appropriate rate and raising her head, willing to fear in her eyes to distill. It was just her luck that her father would find her on this night, where she was at her most vulnerable and fearful. She knew her father's views on weakness and all the unsavory emotions that came with it, but there was little she could do except calm herself externally. She certainly didn't wish to be cleansed or whatever it was that he did. And so, steeling herself against her own emotions, she faced him as rationally as possible. Her behavior was strange, certainly, it was wholly unlike her and yet she couldn't have said before tonight that she was a murderer.

Eden's questions made her violet gaze narrow slightly, as if she were deep in thought. It was good to know, at least, that she had not been followed. "I might have taken part in some... some dreadfulness earlier this evening." Ehiyeh said, shifting uncomfortably but forcing herself to meet her father's gaze. She had a lot to hide, and behind her violet gaze lurked a myriad of secrets. Perhaps it was out of fear or even pride that she did not reveal her actions immediately, instead allowing her words to sink in for a moment before she continued.

"I was... experimenting with ways to kill bigger animals that I could not take on by myself. I used yew berries to coat the wound of a dying deer to poison whatever was hunting it." She shifted again, her skin feeling too tight over her body, her cheeks heating up in a most unpleasant manner. "I was foolish, I suppose, to think that it's pursuant could not be a wolf." It was more than she had really ever spoken, but she was not done. "The prey belonged to the alpha of Taviora." Her eyes flashed to meet his, almost luminescent in the darkness.

"I think I am a... murderer, Father. I ran before anyone could discover him. He was certainly too weak to howl and he must have succumbed to the poison." She finished speaking with a heavy sigh. What Eden thought of her actions, she could not yet tell.
