This wolf seemed nervous about her, or maybe he hadn't really spoken with a female alone before. She assumed that males got frisky sometime, and maybe spring was that time. She'd never been around many of wolves any time of year, and now it was like turning over a new leaf. First the meeting, with a few faces, one of which she knew, and some good talk. Then it was meeting the other wolves, and learning more about Los, the wolf that followed Taika as if tied to her by a leash. Next, she ran into this wolf, whom seemed to think she was going to follow him into the midnight abyss below.
Of course, it had been a while since Amber liked taking risks, but if she was going to be seeing more wolves, she might as well go the whole mile. His words were strange to her, but suddenly they didn't matter. if he wanted her to follow, follow she would. Just for a bit, and for the price of being led right back out. No need to be trapped down there and be attacked by the next wolf the she-wolf saw down in the deep. Or, end up getting lost and drowning, starving, or falling to her death.
"I do not wonder, for I do not care. But it would be a good pass of time to learn this new information. What is your name?" Amber asks, her voice losing it's roughness very slowly, and it began sounding a bit kinda her, and curious. But mostly, it was taking on the static sound that hid her emotions. They were the few things she kept off of display. The world didn't need to know what she was thinking at all, especially alone at night when it was freezing cold and snow was up to her shoulder.
Dipping her head in what could be a nod, she took another step and slide down a bit farther. Then, measuring the space around him, and how low her was, she gracefully jumped down to his level, only feet from him. Locking their eyes once more, she gave the tiniest nod possible.
