Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

and count every beautiful thing we can see

These lands were familiar. He remembered coming here long ago, though the wolves he had met had long since melted into distant memories. Nord supposed it was time to make new memories, after all he was no young wolf anymore, even though it seemed like just yesterday that he had survived the avalanche. It had been cathartic to return to his mountain as tragic as it had been, it had at least given him a sense of closure that had not been there before. It had renewed his faith in the spirits in the sky in a strange way, perhaps he was just comforted by the belief that his family and his friends were looking down on him from above, guiding him.

He was much more in control of himself than he had been all those years ago, although some awkwardness still lingered. Nord was fairly bad at first impressions, as he tended to trip over his words and embarrass himself. But he couldn't stay a recluse in Taviora forever, and seeing Celeste had filled him with newfound confidence. And so he had decided to head to the crags, the rocks cold beneath his pawpads but reminding him of his old home on the mountain. He traveled through the rocky terrain with practiced ease, before a scent crossed his nose and his head lifted in curiosity.

It seemed as though he would not be alone for long, as the scent was fresh. His gait picked up into an easy trot, lowering his head every so often to make sure that he was still on the female's trail. Nord arrived just in time to see her finishing her drink in the icy waterfall, and he waved his tail. He couldn't be sure of who she was or what she was doing out here but he hoped that she would at least be amiable.

Confident in his conversational abilities, Nord took a step, not realizing he was setting his paw down on the slick ice. With a yelp, his paw slid out from under him and he tripped, landing face-first in the snow on the other side of the waterfall. This was just dreadfully embarrassing. Ocean blue eyes glanced upwards, wondering if the stranger had seen him fall. Certainly she had, he had made enough noise to attract just about anyone's attention. Picking himself up, he shook the snow off of his fluffy pelt, and looked at the stranger sheepishly. "I'm Nord. Pleasure to make your, um, acquaintance."
