Malignant Felicity is a paradisaical abode to the faithful remains of a mighty pack. Once ruled by the magnificent wolf Genocide, now the wolves of this pack follow the laws of the Alpha Lance, son of Sorna, Beta and Genocide's best friend...

The sounds of crashing water fill your auds as you enter this tropical paradise. The tall trunks tower above you. The treetop canopy's seem to shade the beautiful land from the sun's rays. What a paradise this place seems. This place dubbed Malignant Felicity. As you draw closer to the boarders a stench slowly devours the air around you. The stench of death.

"Beware..." scream the birds from above you. "She kills for games. She kills for fun." Something deep inside tells you to listen. Your body tells you not to go no further. Do you listen or do you dare move into the pack borders. This could be a life or death decision...

Follow the Queen, or become a corpse that lines her border. The choice lies with you.

Akuji could not understand how Caspian could have allowed his throne to be stolen out from underneath him by a mutt. If it had been by another kalak, it would have been more understandable. Their kind were known for being wily, manipulative, and vicious, and it would not shock him if a royal had taken the land from beneath Caspian's paws. But a mutt... A mutt! A mudblood, a subspecies of the term wolf, had managed to somehow best one of the pure ones. Part of Akuji's mind - his pride - demanded that he return to Cold Summers and decimate the new king. Akuji did not want the throne for himself, for he knew that the power would be too tempting to his own demon... But it was shameful to see any other than a kalak as King. Another part of his mind will filled with rage - that Caspian had been so lackluster in his reign as to allow such an event to come to pass. But behind it all, driving it all, the cause of it all was fear of one man.

Farant.

His father.

It was Farant who had first taught him that kalaks were a superior race to all others, and that other breeds were worth nothing more than to be servants and pawns - nearly useless, and certainly disposable. It was Farant who had broken his soul and his mind and turned him from a sane varg into a thoughtless assassin, a demon that terrified even its own handlers. It was Farant who had pushed him into his marriage, Farant who had shown Akuji his mate's betrayal, Farant who had then exiled him. Who was Akuji without Farant?

No one. Nothing.

Farant was Akuji, or at least had shaped all of Akuji's being. Had he had any other father, he would be different. Kind, perhaps, maybe even loving. But no. Akuji was a broken warrior who should be kept on a short leash because of his tendency to whiplash and attack his masters. And finally... It was Farant who was now coming for Katia.

What emotions laid within Akuji, he had not the time nor the patience to figure out. She looked at him like no other had before, not even Shae. For though Shae loved him, she also knew his true self and so was careful around him. She knew how to lock the beast back up... But it was difficult for the beast would attack even her. But this ess looked at him with pity and sorrow. She did not flinch from his rage even when his teeth sought to tear at her flesh. She forgive his transgressions and asked only that he lean upon her in times of need. What did she see in him, or rather, what did she fail to see in him? Surely it was that she was oblivious of his devil and had some disease herself that drove her to desire pain set upon her.

As they neared the lands, his auds swiveled and focused upon the ess at his side, a kalak, yes, but of the most unique coloring. The entire trip she had been utterly quiet, but now her breathing began to come in gasps, air rushing quickly through her petite nares, and Akuji could swear that he heard her heart beating, racing along to a gallop within her chest. When they stop, she tried to compose herself and addressed him without ever meeting his gaze. 'Thank you, for coming with me' Akuji grunted in acknowledgement. "It was my job to do so. If nothing else, we must keep you out of Farant's paws. The things he would do to you would make you wish for death. He would have you be his whipping post and his bed, his slave and his mate, a lackey and his pup making machine. He would hurt you in places that even I will not mention. And your mind, your innocence would be gone forever. I chose to serve your father, and thus it is my job to save you from that fate. You shall never have to face what I faced, I promise it." Muds shifted slightly to look down upon her as his vocals softened for but a moment. For whatever reason, gazing upon her facade quieted his storm and sedated his demon. The hunger for flesh abated, and for a single moment in time that ceased, he was at peace. But it was fleeting, for he remembered his task and all that was on the line as the approaching footfalls of another neared him.

The last thought he had before the mudblood spoke was a question - 'Why is Caspian affiliated with these tainted people?'

The femme came from the shadows, her paw steps alerted the brute before his orbs caught onto her. 'No need to wake the whole house, dear lady, but please tell me what is it that brings you to the paradisiacal borders of Malignant Felicity?' Akuji tilted his head and stepped one bit in front of Katia, his own smirk matching the chilling grin of the fae. Hers was one that would scare most others, but Akuji was not like most others. "We do not have business with the whole house, but with only the King directly. He knows of our arrival and it is to him that we will talk to. Now, if you don't mind..."

Suddenly a call rang out - a pack meeting was about to take place.

"...What perfect timing. There is no longer any need to talk with you. Come, Katia." Dark paws brought the wolf over the boundary and he eased into a lope, knowing the wolf would not attack him - pack meeting were the one time that strangers did not need an invitation to cross the boundary. His paws led him inward and he travelled for as long as it took to reach the meeting place, his muds glancing backward occasionally to check on the Princess, ensuring that she was keeping up with him. His gait was, perhaps, odd, for it had been altered when his leg had been broken. But it no longer caused him pain. When he reached the center, he snarled quietly - to a single kalak was present. Nonetheless, he slowed and presented himself and Katia to the King. "Lucifer I presume. I am here with Princess Katia as promised by Caspian. We thank you for offer and cooperation. Caspian said you had rules for us to follow - we will do as you ask, within reason." It nearly made him gag, that he would essentially be serving a mudblood. But he reminded himself- Caspian was his king... This brute was merely a necessary tool to ensure Katia's safety.
