This mere child, he was something else. Clever. But how did he not have someone watching him this second, a parent or guardian of some sort. It made her curious, tears slipping down her cheeks as her mind raced. His touch spooked her at first, but she settled under it. "I, too, am alone miss.. And do not have a home either at the moment. That may change, but it is the current state of my affairs. I was living with my mother in Malignant Felicity, but it never felt like home. And when my mother left me... Left me alone... I left too. There were none there that I could call friend or family. I am trying to find my way to Moondown Shadows - that is where my dad and my siblings are, but I am lost."
She didn't typically like the male species, but he was just a child. His father however . . . She grew uneasy. It could be likely he somehow was keeping tabs on this youth. Her golden eyes, rimmed in blood red looked to the child, a small shock that his mother had abandoned him. "I do not wish to harm you, miss, so be enheartened that not everyone wishes to hurt you. But once we find my father, if you want to come with me, you will be safe. He is a warrior and is in a pack and surely will protect you if you come with me. Because we will be friends, you and I. But friends need to know each other's names to be friends... My own is Drizzt. What is yours?" She quietly rose to her paws, towering over him. She sniffed back tears. "I'm not much to befriend males anymore, my dear. But it's worth a try, I'd like to help you." She gave at half of a smile, starting for the exit of the cave. "My name is Motionless. We should head out if we're to find your home." She spoke, her flows of tears stopped and her face began to clear.
