She paddled through the water calmly, only to pull herself out the other side. Amber did not care about the fact she was soaking wet, for that was what she had been aiming for. Water, to keep her cool on such a hot day. Honestly, the rocks under her feet seemed to almost be on fire. Of course, there was nothing dangerous in the water at all, so when a young voice asked her about the monsters, as if the water was filled with rabies or something. Turning to look, it was a younger wolf who'd said it, someone who just about blended in. He was sarcastic in his speech. Laughing, she began to walk towards him.
"Monsters? What monsters? I have never seen anything but fish in water before, unless someone takes a wrong step into quick-sand or mud" the kind voice reasoned, stopping a few feet from the young wolf. He was a rotund thing, hiding there, as if he didn't know that others could get under there to him if they really wanted. She was not one of those wolves, considering Amber preferred rabbits. Or deer if she could ever help to get it. Wolves were too much like her to want to hurt, unless they wished to hurt her, that was.
