"Yes" was the short, rough response. The female wolf slowed her pace and looked back at the darker one. Maybe this wolf could help her. Smelled like a pack wolf, but she was far from home. Maybe their pack was holding her, or sheltering her. Hopefully this wolf would figure out quickly whom she spoke of.
"I'm looking for Taika. Heard of her?" At this point, the white beast slowed even more, giving the darker, smaller wolf a chance to catch up and not get left behind. The answers wouldn't do any good if she didn't hear them. If there were any answers, and this other wolf was not a wasted of time. Her fur was thick, and so when cold wings picked up, Amber simply lowered her little and continued on, unslowed by nature's tries. The sun was doing nothing to warm the ground, but at least the wet rocks were still not freezing. That might have forced her to slow down a little and spread her paws more in order not to slip. One pure white ear turned so easily, facing the darker wolf, just to make sure anything said would not be lost to the wind either. This search was going to take a while, wasn't it?
