keen blue and gold eyes took in the woman before her, from the cold grey-green eyes locked on her to the small, but well balanced frame of the other girl. they were the same age, but the small size of the female leant to a youthful appearance, whereas aurelia was beginning to resemble a grandmother she had never met. she had found her prize without difficulty, and despite the obvious anger radiating off the earthen hued woman, she’d come along willingly. aurelia was not fool enough to underestimate the girl, despite leaving her at her back instead of at her side, and she wondered if she had made a mistake by simply herding her along towards spirane instead of recruiting her with words. as the mountain’s peeks came into her view, her resolve strengthened - this was one of her tasks, and she was proud of her choice. from her observations, the other femme would be a good match for spirane. just as she came to this reflection, a soft growl from behind her caught her attention.

aurelia turned slowly, glancing at the glitter of ivory teeth behind dark lips before she absorbed the woman’s body language. there was anger in the tense lines of her body and the ridged way she held herself, and aurelia’s heart went out to the other girl when she began to speak. ”I have lost my parents and have minded my own business. I haven’t hurt any wolf why have you brought me to this place. You haven't spoke a word to me and you expect me to do what hear exactly?” aurelia’s dark ears twisted back, the only physical sign of her uncertainty before they flicked forward again. she could understand where the other woman was coming from - she knew what it was like to have no family to comfort you when you were forced to make the hard decisions, and she could only imagine how charlotte was feeling now, having been plucked from solitude and forced into a pack. she firmly reminded herself that this could be good for the other, and steeled her courage for the discussion that was beginning.
