Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

Nimueh was quite pleased with herself - for even though it had been Dante who had called for her, the Iberian had managed to sneak up on her. When Nimueh's words had slipped through her lips, Dante had taken a moment to respond, her visionaries blank as if searching for something within her own mind. And then, suddenly, the Queen's nares had flared and she rotated her orbs to fall them upon the Iberian. 'You haven’t been getting yourself into too much trouble, have you Nimueh?' Pursed lips turned upward into a smile and she shook her head, snorting. It was a surprise, really, that she had not even getting herself into trouble recently. Until now, that is. Nimueh often found herself in the middle of trouble - be it through choice or elsewise. Sometimes it was because she made friends with the wrong sorts of wolves. Sometimes it was because she made the wrong sorts of enemies. Sometimes it was because she got in the middle of a war that she had no right to involve herself in. But more often than not, it was because of her escapades that she got in trouble. Not fights, no. But straight up scandalous, hot and steamy sex.

There were the whores that she had paid in information wares. There were the lords who wanted her to be their trophy wife, what with her delicate beauty and all. Or the high ranked officials who Nimueh slept with to gain favor, or information, or a sway of a vote. There were the strangers in the night, who rarely stayed for long periods of time. And then there were the brutes and femmes who were already mated who slept with Nimueh without letting their significant other know. That - that was exactly the sort of trouble that Nimueh usually found herself in - fleeing from a den, covering her tracks across rocks and rivers so that the jealous significant others could not attack her. But never before had she danced across this delicate dangerous line - flirting with her Queen. Dante was her leader, her boss, her master. Nimueh's job was to protect Dante - to serve her. Nimueh needed to respect her, to earn her trust, to deserve her trust. But what she was doing now? It was one thing to flirt with Dante... But where she was now... What she was doing now... Where it might lead? Would it not cross a line? If Dante was looking for fun - if they somehow managed to be serious for a moment and discuss it, laid down plans, laid down rules, it could work - friendship first, without feelings... It could work. But if Dante was looking for something more - if Dante was looking for something permanent - one, or both of the would get hurt. And wasn't it possible that then Nimueh would once again be on the run?

This time it was Nimueh who was caught off guard as Dante jumped from one side to the other, her orbs falling to the broken side of Nimueh. 'Why did you never mention this to me? I could have kept you from harms ways…' Nimueh swallowed for a moment and looked away collecting her thoughts. Her own body was her one weakness. Nimueh's mind was strong and wise - Merlin and Midge had shoved so much information in there for her education and to teach her a trade. Her heart was durable - she had loved only once and had vowed never to do so ever again... Thus her current life choice for sexual partners. But her body... It betrayed her. And thus it was the one aspect of her that she did openly show the world. It was not exactly something she could hide... But should could at the very least prevent the wrong sorts of people from finding out about it - how easy it would be to kill her then?

Colorless orbs swiveled even as her head turned back to face Dante, and she smiled at her. "It is nothing you need worry about, my darling. Time heals all wounds, even mine, but it will just take more time than it does for everyone else. If I had told you and you had tried to protect me, perhaps the battle would not have been won. If I had stayed out of the battle, perhaps the battle would not have been won. There is no use lingering on the 'what-ifs' and the 'why-nots' of life. Yesterday is gone and nothing can be done to change it, and what matters now is today and tomorrow - the only things we have any real influence on." Dante moved back to her original position on Nimueh's uninjured side and rubbed against her, their hairs touching and sparking tiny bits of electricity which delicately danced across Nimueh's flesh, causing her to shiver against Dante. Dante moved slowly from Nimueh's side and up to her jaw, slinking under her maw until it settled back into the crook between her neck and her should. Nimueh felt her hairs pulled as Dante inhaled and Nimueh leaned against her. Her own head dipped under Dante's and her tongue escaped to lick the line that shaped Dante's jaw, following it until led to the Queen's audette, which Nimueh nipped gently before breathing gently onto it before pulling back. "Enough about me. How has the throne been treating you?"
