Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Just like my luck to have some little punk of a kid try to take off with my hard-won meals. Had I offered him any? NO. Those things were actually going to become a present to my imprint until this little shit decided to take off with them. I growled a few times during the chase even if I smirked as well. The adrenaline felt good. One didn't need to feel like they were getting old you know; a race every now and again was good for the bones. Especially since it was a race that I was currently winning as the ground between us disappeared. I leapt on him and we went down in a tangle of sighs and limbs. He better hope that he hadn't gotten my prairie dogs dirty where he dropped them or I'd make his scrawny ass go get me some more.

Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to berate him because the kid turned his face and pressed his nose to mine. My silver eyes flew wide even as I jerked my head back as if scalded, paws pushing against Israfel now as we tried to disentangle ourselves. Except the boy couldn't just leave an accident an accident, could he. "WHAT!" I half-shouted in surprise and exasperation but Israfel continues on, staring at me like I'm about to chase him down and.. what? Kiss his ugly snout?

I glare at him, a real glare this time, both embarrassed by the way he turns this around on me and annoyed by it. Even if inside I know I would find this amusing later. Maybe. "YOU did that little boy, I just knocked you down." I state firmly except his next questions causes me to growl in frustration. "That is NOT what I meant by creeping and that was an ACCIDENT. Damn children," I say, the last part spoken to the air as I turn around with another growl and move to gather my prairie dogs in a pile.

"Well, at any rate, that'll teach you not to try and outrun your elders won't it? All that sunbathing makes the body weak. Trust me when I say, no wolfess is gonna wanna kiss a weak boy," I taunt now, glancing at him with a spiteful grin; time to turn it back around on the kid.
