Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Confident. That is the first word that comes to mind as she settles in with that grin. Cocky? I pose the question to myself. I wonder if such a thing could be said of her too. Though, I suppose stand offs are not uncommon in our species. For now, I will return her grin. I twist my lips up in my own version of a grin, humoring her as I too settle into place. I sit slowly, taking my time to truly get comfortable as I lick the crimson from my maw. I could easily share. I doubt such a thing would bruise me; it might even bare good fruit for me in the future and yet, I do quite like these games. It seems she isn't so opposed either.

I wait patiently for her response then and when it comes, I am not let down. I listen closely, my lip twitching up momentarily as she proceeds to give me quite a spiel. So, there is a meeting. Gypsies meeting? It would make the most sense. I nod slowly, encouraging her. Taika? Pups? Stalker? Interesting things. I wonder if this information would become useful in any other circumstance. Perhaps this stalker would be of benefit to Tithe, no? He seemed close to the woman, Taika. Nonetheless, I do not respond immediately. Instead, I tilt my head and assess her once more.

"You share a lot with a stranger that does not share with you," I observe with a flick of my ear towards the carcass behind me. There is no malice in my voice, merely...fact. I shrug my shoulders, dismissing the thought. "How much more would you share for a king's share of this meal?" Again, I motion back to the carcass. I rise then, almost assured that this will go well, and so I begin to prepare. Though I have devoured the heart, there is still much to be said for the rich liver or even the fatty innards seldom given to those in the lower ranks. Hierarchy can be quite troublesome, no? I imagine it is even less common for a scavenger to enjoy those morsels.
