The new Impetus board is very much a trial, so the way it works and the kind of prompts/prizes it gives are all very loose. I've tried to come up to a rough guide to prize-giving to a) give prize-givers something to go on, and b) show people how much they need to do to get the things they want. Remember that you can request specific prizes, so if you're adamant you want doubloons and not points, you can put that in your OP.

If you guys could take a second to look over it and drop some feedback, I'd really appreciate it. Feedback doesn't have to be long - just a couple of sentences on what you like/don't like and suggested improvements if any. If you're happy with it as it is then please say that too rather than not commenting at all, just so I know! :)
Remember that each prompt usually requires another post, unless the prompt-giver happens to put multiple prompts in their first post. Usually, a thread on Impetus will look something like this:
Prompt, please! by OP
Here's your prompt! by prompt-giver
Post answering prompt, + another prompt please! by OP
Here's another prompt! by prompt-giver
Post answering second prompt, + prize please! by OP
Here's your prize! by prize-giver
In the example above, the OP would have completed 2 prompts.
Alternatively the OP can request x number of prompts in their first post and receive them all at once. In this real post by a prompt-giver, the prompt-giver has given 2 prompts in the first post. As long as the OP responds to both of those prompts, it doesn't matter how many posts they do it in. Replies:
