"Blayre." The girl, noting his acknowledgement, slipped forward to meet her father's affectionate embrace, doing her best not to notice the way he greeted her tenderly, as if afraid the slightly move could break her. "Sweetheart, I'm so glad you came." She gave him a small, comforting smile. "Of course I came." After all, had she not, he would have assumed she had taken off again as must be expected of her at this point. She owed him more than that. When a second voice addressed her, more motherly than she had expected, Blayre found herself nearly flinching out of surprise. "I do not believe I have had the pleasure of meeting you Blayre. I am Sebring." She turned to face the other woman, uncertain of what to say or do. "My apologies, it was rude of me not to introduce myself. It's nice to meet you Sebring."
Another familiar face approached and she felt middle comforted by the fact she knew at least a few others within her old homelands, although this one she had only just been introduced to. "Hello again, beauty-...er... I mean Blayre." For a second, she gave him a confused look -what had prompted that slip of the tongue? he was joking, right? - before allowing her face to relax ever so slightly, giving the male a slight smile. "Good to see you Jorah." She nudged her father gently as she noticed him glare at the male, gently letting him know that it was fine. The wanderess found herself somewhat disappointed when he retreated. He seemed the type to perhaps help ease the tension she felt in this setting, and he had been repeatedly friendly, something she found she appreciated at this time.
Her smile quickly faded however when a pup, unknown to her, charged up, small hackles rising. "Dad what are you doing!?" She felt herself stiffen slightly, a motion which would not be visible to anyone who was not watching closely. This was one of her siblings then? Blayre...didn't know what to do. It was only when she caught Jorah's smile out of the corner of her eye that she took a deep breath and willed herself to calm, to make the best of this slightly awkward situation. When the pup approached her, she did her best to soften her body, to dispel any traces of awkwardness that may come off as misplaced hostility. "Are you going to play with us? Me and Cas and Sera, I mean. Dad says we can't play on the ice but if you come with us maybe it will be okay!" She offered the boy a soft slight smile. "I can play with you if you want. If our father doesn't want you to play on the ice, you probably shouldn't though."Hypocrite. Had it been her, she would've been on that ice in an instant, eager to prove that she could handle herself and eager to have the experience. However, Blayre was also aware she probably shouldn't pass on such habits to the young and impressionable. The scar marking her shoulder from a teen hunting accident served as a reminder that things didn't always go well when she charged in. At the same time, she caught an exchange happening between her father and his mate, Sebring. "As long as your happy, I am too my love. She spoke gently as her honey gaze looked to Blayre and back again, And if she is part of that, then so be it. I will love her as my own, just as you do." The girl threw a brief, yet grateful look in the Queen's direction; if the other had wanted Blayre gone, she would have left, however she knew it would have hurt her father. That was one fear she did not have to deal with.
Another varg joined the gathering, yet another unfamiliar face. At this point, she was feeling slightly overwhelmed, however the adventuress would manage for Kal, if nothing else. “I am Gwaine. Are you new here?” She offered a friendly dip of her head before replying, "The name is Blayre. I...used to be from around here." If her father wanted to announce who she was and what her connections were, she'd let him, however she wasn't overly eager to share. What would people think of an absentee adopted ex-princess? She couldn't think of anything good.
Another pup approached, bright and eager, and Blayre gave this one a soft smile too. “Hi. I’m Seraphina! Who are you?” "Hello Seraphina. I'm Blayre. Are you a friend of Vladimir's?" Blayre wondered briefly who this girl was, but opted to ask about it later. She was meeting so many that it would be more beneficial to wait than to get even more information to process. Two others approach and sit on the fringes quietly, and the girl made a mental note to approach them later. The least she could do was at least get to know those residing within her father's lands once again.
Yet another small frame entered the fray, once again racing over with an energy that could only be a result of puphood. She held back at slight laugh as she was approached once again - to be fair, she too as a pup had wanted to know every person she had come across- and accepted the fact it was quickly falling on her to entertain this trio. "Hi there missus! My names Castiel! And I’m also his brother." So this was her other sibling then? She greeted back warmly. "Hello Castiel, I'm Blayre. Should I tell you who I am, or does Vladimir want that honor?" She gave her other sibling a slight grin as she gave him an opening if he chose to take it. As a pup she had not only loved to have known everything, but she also had taken great joy in being able to share that knowledge with others. She'd let him have something to share with his friends.
"I could take you on," she decides.
