Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

It is about the time that she says to Senketsu what it is that she is to her people that her stomach begins to growl and her eyes widen in horror.

"Watashitachi ga taberubekida to omoimasu." She says this with a surprising amount of levity in tone and in expression, seemingly clear about what drives her out of poetic recitation and dreamer’s thoughts. It is also clear that she seems a bit out of her depth in regards to the uses of the teeth in her mouth or claws at the end of her toes. Too young to have been on many hunts, if any as could be questioned by the utterly together state of her fur. "Demo, watashi wa shuryō de amari yokunaidesu."

She sniffs the air, seeming at least keen of senses even if she was dull of talents in hunting as she claimed. Her head turns left, twists right, all the while her nose stuck up into a passing wind. "Watashi wa doko ni iku no o shitte i!" She exclaims, and is off. Off in the direction of Ruieze Fields, not so far away.

She is swift, though not as swift as some, and makes quick work of leading herself to where the throng of rabbits seemed to congregate most in scent. She stops short at the first sign of trouble, in a place that is so littered with holes in the earth that the warren must be almost fifty times the usual size.

Her head throws back in a beautiful and eerie song, a song of abundance that called all who felt the need in their bellies. It was a feast for those who had no home, a chance for the young to make their first kill, a chance for strangers to become not so strange anymore.
