Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Zeltzin was a bit nervous and Suomi wasn’t really easing the tension now that they were in the pack. She expected as much from her big sister when she replied ‘no promises’. Her big sister was a give no feelings type generally towards nonfamily members, but she was truly helpful and perhaps it was that attitude was why Zeltzin brought her along versus maybe her father or brother. Zeltzin wouldn’t say she wouldn’t stand for what she believed in, but she was… nice… probably too nice. Having Suomi there to maybe balance the scales and see it from two different lights was probably for the better than bringing her brother or father of the same mind. Really there were lots of reasons she chose her more brash sister, but now she had to work with maybe making sure things would still be relaxed. She wanted to talk not fight with Eden after all.

They made it through the pack with no issues, not that she expected any here. Zeltzin was aware of her more welcomed position amongst Eden’s lands. Suomi was her sister and while maybe Taviora and Glorall were not currently formally allies they had always held each other in decent favor. At least, that was what Zeltzin had always thought. Hyrule or no Hyrule the pack had honestly changed little in terms of beliefs because Zelda was ruling alongside him. Soon enough any diplomatic holes that had been created during the change in alphaship would hopefully fill in, if not, well, Zeltzin figured Eden had a lot to gain now becoming formal allies now. Well if he cared or wanted them... But she wasn't here to do that now… that would come later she thought once she knew if he even wanted them, or her. Her meeting with Eloah had put some thoughts to rest but not a lot, she still wanted to see it from him for herself.

Upon seeing him her mixed feelings were not hidden. None of them were even close dislike or hate. No such real negative emotions existed at all. She liked Eden, if she didn’t she never would have been in this position to begin with. It was hardly a scandal, and it wasn't worth the time of Hyrule. Zeltzin didn’t feel the need to explain her actions to her daughter or her mate they still knew who’s children they were and she was happy to have them. No more details needed to be heard to her own child’s ears. This was a personal matter after all.

His reply and actions are strange upon Zeltzin’s greeting, almost too neutral, and Zeltzin feared they were perhaps a bit cold. She knows he isn't the most emotional of wolf, far from how she was herself but she still expected something a bit more. After all here she was pregnant with his children and having come a long way just to talk to him and in her condition no-less. Though, at Suomi’s remark Zeltzin gave her a pointed look. Zeltzin knew she said no promises, but really? Already? This was only exacerbated by Eden’s own light tones that Zeltzin knew they were not quite as light as his shrug and tones made clear. He continued on stating that this was a peaceful affair. ”Of course it is.” The tri-colored wolfess says loud enough to hopefully override any retort her sister was about to make to his first reply. She looked at Suomi then almost pleading with her to relax, she knew it was hard but she needed Suomi to listen, watch, make sure Zeltzin by the end of it wasn’t just being a fool. Suomi would be the first person to tell her if she was making any mistakes. That was why she was here now and didn't just escort her to the borders. The brutal honesty was helpful even if it hurt sometimes. Thankfully Eden carried on past it all, and Zeltzin was a bit relieved to be past the rocky greetings.

”No, thanks you your help I got home fine, my daughter wasn’t so lucky.” A frown creased Zeltzin’s maw guilt somewhat filling her for not continuing to look for her, perhaps if she pressed through and didn’t get distracted she never would have been hurt. She knew she was probably explaining more than she should and it wasn’t important to the now, but Zeltzin had told him why she was there, she guessed maybe he should know how it had ended. "A kind loner helped her best he could, and we got back to Taviora. There are still wolves out there who seem to enjoy targeting the young and infirm.” A horribly obvious transition to why she was here. She guessed it doubled as and explanation to why she had decided to bring Suomi too. She served so many purposes, it really did bring some ease of mind to have her here with her, just still she didn’t want her to start a fight with Eden.

”But that’s not the point. That’s Taviora’s issue. I came because I wanted to figure out what we are.” She wasn’t going to dance around the issue. Zeltzin didn't think her anxiety could take it anymore. She didn’t want to stall and put the matter off more than she already had for the last several weeks as her stomach grew larger and larger. She paused for a moment she could feel them in her squirming about in her a feeling that made her feel warm to the core despite the circumstances. No matter what Zeltzin would love them, but she had to know now if he would too. She was fine if it was just going to be her, but that was something she wanted to know now rather than later. They would be born soon, just a few more short weeks and she had to make sure she had everything in line. She’d be embarrassed if he wanted nothing to do with them or her, but it still wasn’t their faults, Zeltzin knew like with Zelda and Scarlett the rest of her family could fill the 'father figure' roll, but she wanted it to be him. ”I want to know what you will be to them too, if anything.” Her heart was racing in her chest afraid of what he might say but she kept her eyes trained onto him. She was expecting something bad she just hoped she would be wrong. Zeltzin wanted a family, but part of her knew Eden was not the wolf she needed if she wanted that. No matter how much she might have hoped otherwise.
