Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

senketsu
four - homeless - heartless - despoina's soul

He watched gleefully as Koi tried to catch her own rabbit, proud of her for at least trying- even if her technique wasn't perfect. But his eyes were drawn to another almost inexplicably- Senketsu watched her as she hunted, and regardless of his original intentions he found himself walking towards her, as if she were magnetized. Try as he might, he simply couldn't ignore her. His heartbeat quickened as he approached, not out of love or adoration or any sort of emotion like that, but out of apprehension. He could almost tell that she would not take kindly to his advance. Senketsu didn't want to bother her but at the same time he couldn't ignore her; it seemed to go against something intrinsic to do so.

He thought that he might have heard of this in passing, a soul bond called imprinting. The male had thought it a children's fairytale, but he realized now that it was very real. Senketsu did not feel it so strongly as others might have, but he did feel a desire to be close to this brutish woman, perhaps not in body but at least in spirit. Her scent wafted towards his nose and his nostrils flared, taking in the scent of the swamps, of another woman and of pups. His head tilted slightly, and he stood there for a moment, almost dumbfounded. It was strange to know that all this time there had been another piece of his soul out there. Was it a piece of his soul that he could do without, however?

Senketsu cleared his throat. "Hello." He greeted, his tail sweeping against his ankles in a wary wag. He did not wish to offend her by being cautious, but he was not sure how she would react when she realized what had happened between them. It was clear that she already had others to provide for, judging by the amount of rabbits that she had caught. His delicate, almost feminine face twitched upwards in a slight half-smile.

"I don't wish to bother you. But..." He found himself struggling with the words necessary. "I think something... important has happened. Something that perhaps we need to discuss. My name is Senketsu."
