don't look for me cause i'm too far gone...
He knew it had been a long, hard time for both of them. Of course he had helped heal her after her fall… and someday Meryl hoped he would make that brute pay for it. Anyone who ever hurt her he wanted to see burn, but it seemed the male had found himself a corner of Moladion to hide in for now, at the very least, he wasn’t seeming to go back after Daenerys as Purge had done many times both with Diveen and Spirane. He was happy they had their chance to run her out of Moladion, though that felt like an entire lifetime ago now. So much had happened since then, primary being that they had raised their kids and for him, well he got his revenge too for his mother and himself. The weight of killing him wasn’t as hard to bare as it maybe should have. He didn’t even think anyone would figure out what he had done anymore. He had gotten whatever illness he had when he had attacked him.
He shook it from his mind for the moment, especially as her voice reached his black ears he felt his body almost instantly relax. He would have let out a sigh, but instead he continued listening as she spoke to him. He didn’t stop moving towards her soon leaping up and placing himself at her side after she had gestured him to join her. He let out a little humorless half laugh at her words seating himself down beside her now.
”Yeah, it has.”
All he could do was agree. Though he wasn’t sure who had it worse it wasn’t exactly a competition. He looked over noticing now that she was observing the children of Moladion gathering beneath her. A nice little set up she had going on up here. His chocolate and sky flecked eyes shot back to her when she spoke again, turning his muzzle once again to face her. He shook his head slightly dismissively and shrugged his shoulders.
”About the same, perhaps a bit better. Things are improving with Solara in charge, though still fairly, eerily, quiet. But I have gained my rank back and Solara is having a litter of pups soon with your brother. They became mates, she announced it just before winter started.” He informed her hoping that news might bring a little light to her day. Though he was sure she would like to hear it from Taliesin rather than him.
Meryl shifted slightly, looking up at the dark sky and allowing the drizzle to cover the thin fur of his face for a second.
”And you? Seems Spirane is just as peaceful as ever with you in charge again.”
