Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

with every rain comes a fresh breath of life

He was trying not to be a dripping wet mess. He gave his coats several good shake outs, but even with his thinner fur there was no way to completely be free of the loose water in his coat. He couldn’t deny it felt good, if not a bit brisk. Already though his fur was curling up like his father, giving him a rather, more girly look he always thought. It never bothered him, he didn’t take too terribly much after his father in many ways so having something, even if it was so little, of him always made him smile. She was a very friendly female he thought, at her light greeting he continued to smile before crouching and giving a good leap to join her. The rock beneath his tan paws almost immediately darkened with the water, soon as he sat likewise he left a big old rear print in his wake but was care to avoid getting her wet.

”This one thanks you for sharing such a nice place.” he says again, his tail waving lightly out behind him in all its curly-wet glory. He could understand very well why she was a loner. For similar reasons perhaps he had chosen to pick his own path rather than that of the packs. Packs had borders, confines, rules. When he wanted to help others unconfined by the standards of a pack or its alliances… well that made it hard. Should he not help an innocent even if it was an ‘enemy’ to his home? That was more where his mind was when he had chosen to leave, chosen to not be biased on who he helped. He wanted to protect the balance and that meant stopping wolves who hunted others for fun or food. Or to even something as helping a lost child without being associated with a pack to perhaps instill more worry and chaos. No he was happier this way. Even if it was hard sometimes being a loner just worked for the mostly slate male.

As she moved over and seated herself again, he thought nothing of it. He did however look a bit sheepishly away as her eyes met his own and locked on for several moments. She had very striking eyes, he noticed in the few moments that they had met. He was much more confident but it seemed eye contact forever would be hard and strange for him. When she gave her name he was more than happy to return his gaze to her. He looked back to her for a moment tail waving once more, ”It’s nice to meet you too, Tauriel.” He says to her grinning before letting his eyes wander around her peaceful little place as she asked what had brought him here.

”This One is a wanderer and travels all over Moladion hoping to help others when This One can. This One’s paws just so happened to be going through here today! And very happy for it for This One has met you!” he was very sincere in that. He always loved meeting other loners and wolves when he could. ”You smell as though you love the lands as well. Is this where you mostly stay?” He asked her eyes returning to her own very curious of her own goals for living out here. The life of a loner wasn’t easy but it was rewarding, so he wondered what reward she was getting from all this?
