She was annoyed snowy had gotten away that day but she had more eventful things to spend her time on. It was better to try and get the most damage for the least amount of effort, the prey was abundant with everything in the taken into consideration she also knew she was cautious not to become the prey for others. It wasn’t fear that held her caution but rather an instinct she desired to rise to the top and never fall down the food chain always growing wiser in mind stronger in the body.
Sekhmet’s paws shifted from her place in the fields by the valley; perhaps it was a visit to mother in the valley but her mind had led her to the spot snow and the colorful one had first met. A snarl ripped from her throat
The pack was higher than the grasslands she used to but as demanding as her mind was it was a patient thing when it had no other choice to be. As she made her ascent she could feel the strain in her lungs and the feeling intrigued her but it cautioned her to become adjusted somewhat before proceeding. She allowed herself this process several times following the freshest trail of snowy ever observant and listening for the wolves that called this place home.
Opalescent eyes scanned carefully she silenced her desire to purr in pleasure as she spotted a white wolf. Her mind cared little if it was snowy or not she crept forwards stalking silently making careful paw placement and baited breath. The white wolf was facing her almost as though it were a fawn offering left in the summer mornings light breeze blowing her scent away from the top of the mountain. She leaped forward and the wolf screamed out as Sekhmet locked her jaws around its neck snapping at its throat. She felt the wolf push her off she knew her blow wasn’t fatal but the white creature racing away from her would never be able to speak again. She was about to race after it but her ear twitched demanding her stop and listen.
