aurora borealis- noun plural: An aurora that occurs in northern regions of the earth. Also called northern lights.

In the middle of a dense forest of coniferous trees lies the Aurora Borealis pack, its name coming from its location. At certain times of the year, the northern lights appear, dancing almost magically in the sky. A narrow trail leads you through the close evergreens. Giving into temptation, you begin moving your paws. By venturing into this territory, you are venturing into a land belonging to a pair of feared leaders. You have heard rumors of them...but you decide to take your chances and hope that the tales of blood and death are merely fabricated stories to scare wolves.

You have walked nearly five minutes before you realize the sound of paws stepping somewhere from behind. Deciding that you've made a mistake, you quickly turn around, but find that you cannot go any further. Standing before you is one of the mighty kings you've heard of. His blood red pelt clings over perfectly toned bands of muscle. But that isn't what causes such fear in your veins. One of his amber eyes has a horrid, bleeding scar across it, and his good eye seems to stare right through you. His face is expressionless, giving off none of his intentions. You cower away as his jaws part.

"I'm Hell Demon."

His voice was deep and cut through the air like a hot knife through butter. Right where he left off, another voice picks up from behind you. You whirl around and find yourself facing another male with steely muscles beneath his pelt, which seems to consist of every shade of brown. He had startled you, and you're amazed how you hadn't at all detected his approach.

"And I am Ghost...we're the alphas of Aurora Borealis."

His deep voice was laced thickly with a Native American accent. His own golden eyes are directing a harsh glare your way. Now you're caught in the middle...your breathing has become heavy in your panic and you're not sure which to face.

"You've foolishly trespassed into our territory. You face the one called Hell Demon's whose voice is once more addressing you. Get out, or become a corpse along our border."

It's obvious they mean business. So now it's up to you...take your chances and stay, or heed their warning and waste no time getting out with your life.

Jorah
There is a beast in every man...
...mine is stirring...

Jorah:
He had wanted to get closer to Blayre, but after the little get together with the rest of the pack, she had disappeared. Never before had he had so many difficulties in one mission. Perhaps once or twice his plans had failed him, but here he failed far too many times to be logical. He had thought to be close to Chenzii, and yet as fate would have it her heart was already in the process of being claimed by another of the titans living within the boundary of the pack. Next he had thought to get closer to Hellene, but she seemed resistant to his charm… all charm really. She was a cold stubborn bitch of a wolf and would not allow him access to what he really needed. And so he had thought that Blayre, the broken daughter of the Alpha would do it. Perhaps she still would, if she remained around long enough, but it would be hard for him to get close to her if she was absent. Jorah had known that she had already started to enjoy his wiles, his straight forward tactics of compliment. He had repoire with her and that was further than he had gotten with any of his other plans.

How long would Tywin give him, how long would he be allowed to continue on before he was considered a failure? Never had he taken this long to find the information he needed… and Tywin was not particularly known for his patience. He was a ruthless ruler and would not let anything get in his way – even one of his own men. This had been meant to be Jorah’s last mission – upon his success he was going to be retired and rewarded with riches and females and food – he would never want for anything. But his failure… that would result in his own untimely death. He had failed Tywin once before and had been punished for it – stripped of his manhood and his position. It had taken years for Jorah to return to the status he had once had. And this was meant to be his final redemption. He… he couldn’t fail now.

It was time for him to start making a backup plan. And so when a female voice called out, he thought it wise to reach her first and greet her, but she was at the opposite side of the packlands. He had not rushed, not wanting to appear anxious or out of breath – he needed to maintain his calm appearance and suave moves. But his heart fell when he arrived and found instead a group of wolves – A female with a pup by her side, Kalgalath, and the twins. And, finally, another female that he didn’t recognize. Two females? It was his lucky day. And he caught onto the tail end of a name – Uriel. And that she apparently knew Kalgalath already.

Jorah approached the group and dipped his head respectively toward Kalgalath, who only stared him down… but a tight lipped smiled was at last released from the king. “Hello, Kalgalath, Vladimir, Castiel. And hello, all of you. It is nice to meet you, indeed. My name is Jorah.” His eyes laid upon the older fae, who looked oddly similar to both Kalgalath and Vladimir, in both coat and eye color. Was there a family resemblance? He dipped back his weight into a bow but kept his gaze upon her. “If I am not mistaken you mentioned that your name was Uriel?

Kalgalath:
He had thought he was being blessed by Adara, but was pleasantly surprised to see that Sin was with her. “You have grown, Sin! How have you been? This is Vladimir and Castiel, my own two boys. I suppose they would be your uncles, though they are younger than you by a little bit.” Vladimir immediately jumped forward across the border upon hearing that this was yet another family member… and even better about the same age! Kalgalath laughed and backed away, watching and Vladimir leapt around Sin and ran in between Adara’s limbs. But when he heard another voice he froze. ‘Kal? It’s me. Uriel?’ Slowly, the brute turned and was shocked to see his sister in front of him. The last time he had seen her, they had only been what, pups? Teenagers? It had been years since she had left the pack to join the Wildlings – she had never fit into the pack life style and had always wanted more – more freedom, more space, more adventures. And yet she was here, now. Before he could greet her, Jorah arrived and introduced himself. Kalgalath was glad that Jorah was being active, but he would have given anything to have this moment unmarred by one not of his blood. Kalgalath pushed Jorah aside, gently, but forcibly and moved to embrace his sister. “Where have you been? How did you find me?”? His neck looped over hers and pulled her in close for a moment before stepping away. “We have so much to catch up on… but for now… You remember Nika? We grew up with her? It turns out that I fathered three pups by her, and Adara here, is one of them. Then there is Aindreas who is in another pack, and… the third has been lost. This is one of Aindreas’ pups, Sin. Another, Drizzt, is with him. And these two boys are my newest – Vladimir and Castiel.

...and should I ever slay you...
...your eyes shall be open
