The morning is peaceful while Lluvia is exposed to more than her dam or the woods, her pale eyes follow the tawny creatures and she feels a hot feeling soak her chest as the fawn are romping and playing with one another in the grass. As she is young she isn’t quite sure of the name of this feeling and yet there is a common name for it: jealousy. She wants someone to play with, to have fun with, to not be alone. To gather her legs beneath her and play with the others, but one look at her mother and she knows it cannot be. So it is here she stands and watches quietly.

Out of the corner of her eye Lillith glimpses the copper colored mare, with a lift of her skull she turns towards Macrebe as the mare lets out a greeting of her own. It is then that the slight sound of thundering hooves sends the doe and their fawn scattering away, so discreet that only their hooves hitting the rocks gave them away. With quiet indigence Lluvia turned to scowl at the intruder of her fascination, a small snort escaping her nostrils. She was not pleased with this stranger. Lillith gives a nod of greeting to the lead mare, “it’s quite alright.” Though Lluvia begs to differ.

With care the child ambles over to where her mother and this stranger stand to peacefully, slipping beneath her mother’s body she looks and watches the mare, her eyes focused without fear. With an irritated huff Lluvia turns and swats her tail a few times before lifting her muzzle to nurse. Lillith is familiar with the feeling but shifts nonetheless, her eyes on her daughter with a quiet scolding before turning back to Macrebe, “she still has much to learn.”

There is no harshness as Lillith looks upon the smaller mare who had seen her in the peak of her pregnancy, “this is Lluvia, by the way.” An ear flicks as her daughter finishes and peeks back up at Macrebe through thick lashes beneath her mother’s belly. “How have you been fairing?”
