Hi Ethan;
It may well be a Common Grackle but did you see the other photo that Fred took that shows the tail better. The tail does not seem long enough or wide enough for a grackle. The bill does not seem long and heavy enough as well for a grackle. Fred mentioned that it was all alone so size comparison to other grackles present was not possible. It may just be a Common Grackle of a different colour since the plumage appears right but the tail and bill bother me Replies:
