The forest stands tall and lush here; ancient trees reach weather-twisted arms to the sky, fighting monster-like storm clouds back with their interlacing fingers. Shadow seems to lurk everywhere you look, but it spills calmly, coolly, inspiring a sense of stealthy calm or protection rather than unease. That is, if you've forgotten what kind of creature might be stalking just out of sight...Abendrot is a land cradled by the dark woods on all sides; in the center, some of the larger trees stay behind to reveal a small plateau - a citadel where this pack can gather and defend itself from invaders. There are, of course, softer sides to the land. Clearings here and there allow the sun to throw down its rays in incongruously resplendent gold showers. Ignore the lingering scents of blood spattered here and there along the borders: those do not concern you. The river on one edge of the territory is playful enough when it hasn't been gorged by violent rain. You can choose to note the ragged claw marks raked down tree trunks and the forest floor as friendly "Home Sweet Home" signs, if you wish.

All who treasure loyalty, order, victory, and the occasional indulgence of raw visceral pleasure are welcome, once they've been approved by the ever-watchful eyes of Abendrot's Alpha. But keep one thing in mind: no matter what your motive, this is not a fool's Paradise. This is the land of soldiers, assassins, and spies. This is ABENDROT.

Make up your mind quickly and prepare to prove your worth. You wouldn't want to add to those blood spatters, would you...?

MEN SHOULD KEEP THEIR WORD,

The male stood in the same stance as when he had first spoken to the female. He knew that her words were true, but going back in time to the past with his old pack and family was something that threw him off. She was staring at him, studying him, waiting for him to answer her proposition. Grey Wind grew up knowing about Tywin and the Lannisters and what they were like. He knew that they would not give up on something they started, and that included killing the rest of the Starks. But Summer and Grey Wind had been living in Blossom for years now, and nothing had happened. But the alpha was not stupid, he knew it was always possible that his past would come back, and he always kept an eye out to what was going on in all the packs so he would get word if there was suspicious activity. Most of the time it didn’t affect him and it was drama with other packs, but he still made sure to keep himself informed.

Finally the male spoke, wanting to get all the information that Daenerys had. He knew that the Targaryens had once ruled before the Lannisters began to take charge, and he could only assume that that was the reason that Tywin would want Daenerys killed, but if there was something else going on he needed to know about it before agreeing to protect her. 'You don't know? They want the last Targaryen dead. I'm a threat." He nodded his head to her. This was not news to him, and it seemed that it was not more complicated than Tywin wanting to kill all the Targaryens as he had wanted to do to all the Starks, and had almost succeeded.

Daenerys went on, explaining more of why she needed his protection, "You're in danger too I'm afraid. They slaughtered your family. Do you really think that if I knew how to find you they wouldn't? They'll finish what they thought they did all those years ago." Grey Wind finally moved from his frozen positon, his fur bristling at her words. He would not let Tywin do that. Noone would cause harm to him or the rest of his family, what little of them might be left. A snarl appeared on his features as he snapped. ”No, they will not finish what they started. Tywin can try, but he will not succeed. The Starks survived before, and will continue to survive.” The alpha was pacing at the borders, knowing that he needed to reach out to Summer and talk to him in case his brother had not been as careful as Grey Wind had been. His yellow gaze, now filled with anger, turned back to Daenerys, ”But I will agree to you staying in Abendrot. You are welcome to make your den anywhere here and have your pups.” He knew that protecting Daenerys would not make Tywin any happier about him, but after what had happened when he was young he would never want to be aligned with the Lannisters anyways. And there were enough royal families that had been killed off, no need to destroy one more.
