Elm St to Pomona yard

Elm St(Industries For The Blind). I 40 east to Patterson St exit. Left on Gate City Blvd. For Pomona, left on Holden rd, Right on Lee St.


Pros: Great traffic 12 to 16 trains in a 12 hour period, not including extras. You'll get plenty of Intermodal, Manifests, and Amtraks. At Pomona you can catch K Line Traffic. If you are camming Elm is good for mornings to early afternoon , Pomona is good for late afternoon, evenings and and nights. Food and drink is within short driving distance.


Cons: Trains can be slow or stop at both Pomana and Elm. Shade can he hard to come by. Elm St is not an option at Night.
