It irked her that she was being followed by a shadow that chose nose to reveal itself. As time dragged on her ears started to flatten in increasing annoyance. She did not feel threatened by him, his presence, or his movements. For the most part he seemed harmless. Though he might have been able to start to pick up where her various hiding places were. Duo eyes narrowed as she gathered a cluster of pine branches. She would go a different trail, she figured, this way he would only know the one with the scents that were easier to find. At last he stepped in front of her, thankfully far from any den of consequence.
To give him her full attention, or at least to seem to, she set the branch down and looked at him. At first she simply glanced over him before taking a minute to truly study who he was. From this distance she could still smell the depth of the sand and the sea on him. No matter his bloodline, he was a wolf of the pack, fully entrenched. She was the one who might be stepping wrong here. Her eyes narrowed curiously. Friend? She did not have… When he said the name her eyes snapped wide. Abel had found her, saved her one time before she had been stolen again.
Abel? She looked in the direction of the mountains. A soft whimper whispered through her lips, a whips on the breeze. He had saved her once, he might not remember who she was, or what he had done for her years ago, but she remembered him. Called him a hero. If she could help Pine, and if Abel had helped her, maybe they could help him. She looked back at Elohim. He was but a stranger to her, though he told her Abel had been stolen. Her face turned back to the peaks, body leaning towards them, away from the needles at her paws. She could just go to try to find him. No one would notice. They had not noticed her coming and going. Except this one. Deep in thought for a moment she breathed through her nose. Will you help me? I want to find him.
