Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

i will be your demise

Her brother seemed pleased to see her and despite their exchange, she was happy to see him. She didn’t show affection as others did but that never stopped her from caring. Still, it is in her coldness she keeps him safe, them safe. As a wolf of intriguing taste and she had no intention to tie herself back to them and allow strangers to harm them. Everything she did had to reason even if it didn’t seem like she did. Somehow she wished to tell him and comfort him but the massive paws on the earth took her attention from him.

Opalescent gaze locked onto the larger wolf, the stranger, as he stood without hesitation she took a small step in front of her brother offering her sire a snarl all her own. It was a warning for him not to approach but in mere strides, he towered above Ripper and herself. Sekhmet hadn’t forgotten what little she learned from the black wolf from her younger years but she also tested her luck with that creature as well. She was smaller and less experienced but she wasn’t a creature that bowed down easily and even now she would be willing to test her luck.

As the male took a snap to at her she parted her maw her ears lacing to her crown to prevent any injury to them as she snapped in the direction of his jaws. In these moments she wished ripper would just move away as she took a step back after the creature's initial attack and lowered her head slightly to cover her throat mimicking the male. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the males paw on a collision course with her shoulder. Sekhmet rolled to the earth but didn’t snarl in retaliation. She knew she could still use it but the pain would linger that was certain.

Sire or not, she saw the male in these moments, as a threat and not her possession or family. She needed something to shift the tide into her paws. She used the fact he was distracted with her brother and challenge the beast, aiming for the left side of his neck with a resounding growl. She would try and penetrate or rip flesh before daring back to her brother's form. Perhaps Sekhmet should have listened to the wisdom of mind over the rage that coursed through her veins but she wanted him away from her brother and her. A snarl echoed from her throat as she showed her fangs in response.

As much as Sekhmet didn’t favor getting close to this beast again she used her back paw to try and claw at whatever flesh she could of her brothers encouraging him to get up and back away. She would use herself to distract the male if her brother had sense enough to listen to her. Even as it nips and chews at her subconscious, she knows to be pinned could mean death if she did continue to fight. Still, she wouldn’t ask for help, she was to protect now, even if she didn't realize her mother was still trying to fight for them.

you're going to love it, i promise
