It started flooding back rather quickly. The time at the valley, soon after her return. It was still warm then and together they had hunted and snapped at the white female who ran. Boring. She remembered the white female as, not worth her time or the chase, but she did remember her running towards the mountains. No one ever came though, perhaps she was not important enough to warrant finding her attacker? One thing was for sure was that Kattari instead found something much more interesting instead. The girl. She didn't think she was given a name or anything but she certainly remembered her. Her body tensed up and tingled, surely the child had grown a fair bit since she had last seen her, but a child she still was. Her white and strawberry fur prickled upwards feeling like electricity was charging her at the silence before the growl broke the air and the child brust out in a loud crack of ice and snow.

A manic grin split Kattari's maw spinning herself around to see her would-be-opponent who clearly just wanted to run into a fight. She knew it was the child, but if the child wanted the fight Kattari would give it to her. She spotted the girl and boy had she grown since she had seen her! Nearly the most worthy opponent, just nearly. She was quickly becoming full grown but was still not at her peak and what fun would a fight with a child be? If she continued her onslaught Kattari would oblige to a point, but it seemed when she had danced away from the exposed daggers and clacking jaws that the multi-colored girl thought about just whom she had attacked. Thought better of it? Perhaps, or simply just recognized her as Kattari had her. They had some sort of mutal understanding. Kattari stared at her for a good few seconds, steps away from the girl but her body still tense.

She recalled the girl getting her in a spot of trouble in Iromar when she stole a smaller pup. She wondered what happened to it. Eaten, probably. Her willingness to attempt to attack her and thinking better of it was almost classic of the cannibals Kattari recalled so well. They want easy prey, least to her understanding, not something that fought back with any force. The girl spoke her strange broken words then and Kattari watched her still grinning all the while but still ready should the girl decide she wished to try and take a nibble again. "Yes." She said lightly before continuing, You are bigger." She sounded almost excited she felt her body shudder with the prospects of just how good of a fight it would be with the child once she was grown. But at the same time she was rather interested in her for different reasons. It dawned on her that her prayers may have been answered,

"Hungry?" Kattari asked. She had said she was in no mood to hunt, but that was before she found the perfect hunting partner and observation subject. Someday the child's heart would probably be hers. Today she would help groom her, see where she was at with her skills and simply anticipate the day they would finally clash together in bloody battle. Kattari looked forward to it, but that day would come when the girl was grown.
