The other day my boss asked me how I would explain a "Hissy Fit" to someone of the younger generation. I told them it was an old fashion description of a tantrum.

Today it was really cold and reminded me of another colorful phrase. " Colder than a brass monkey's balls".
Pretty much described it.

Do you have any old fashioned colorful phrases you are fond of?
