Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

She was happy the ice had begun its melt, but the moors called to her less and less as she was tasked to go out by her father to see what the lone wolves were saying. Surely he would love to know what pack wolves had been saying too, right? It didn’t really matter however she skirted the riverside she had met the boy at not too long ago the walk was only a day but she was small and agile even if she were still growing it was clear she was a lean agile creature fit for running. She wasted little time even with her developing muscles growing to burn from the exertion she made it without even slipping once.

Dusk had started to fall and despite the fact, the snow was melting it grew bitterly cold still as the sun sank from its governing place. Litha moved slowly pacing around at the borders of Glorall. She remembered his scent but could she find him before someone else found her? She looked around with cautious eyes before taking a step over the invisible marker that kept her out for so long. She moved slowly and silently waiting and hoping to find him soon. Every moment that passed she could tell it was getting colder, what a poor night to be out alone.

She came to an opening of sorts that looked like a small meadow and her ears flattened against her skull. She was watching before prowling forward keeping herself low to the ground. She seemed more like she was either hunting or being hunted, stilling herself at the rustle of underbrush with the distant sound of crashing in the distance. Perhaps she should have picked a better day to visit or at least waited until the sun had risen. This place was too foreign for a yearling in the dark.
