Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

"Enya?

Her name comes from my lips in a whimper of sorts and suddenly she appears at the base of the den, snarling and snapping, and I backpeddle swiftly to try and avoid the sting of her bites. Before I would snarl back at her but I am lost now, confused. My sister has become.. crazed. Ghosts? I stare at her in confusion, my greif making me slow to put things together. I wanted to tell her to shut up. I was sad, couldn't she see that? What ghosts? But I glance to the side as if desperate to see Grayson.

He isn't there. He is dead.

My ears flatten as I look back at Enya and I take a step towards her, my stocky figure bristling, but before I can even say something scathing a figure rushes out and assaults me. I don't know what is happening, not really. I know I strike back, tearing into whatever I can, but I whimper far more than growl, and he is a cyclone. I am just the dirt that is in his path. I can't even scream Enya's name because suddenly he has my throat, the blossoming pain in my shoulder enough to make me scream. It is choked quickly and then I can't breath.

Then I am in the moment of numbess and nothingness.

I don't see him, my killer, but I look up into the sky between the trees and I think I see a figure of gray and black and white. A figure that stands once more on four legs, whole and hale, and in the distance some red wolves. "Gah..." I choke, trying to say his name. Grayson. He is there, they are there, and then I am with them.

I am gone.
