Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Alistair

Alistair tilted his head slightly. 'I had been under the impression that Zelda had been much of the ruling these days.' He gave a small nod, white eyes betraying little about what he felt of that observation. "Yes, well... I do believe she is doing so with his support." In truth he was unsure what Hyrule was up to behind the scenes. He didn't know if the male was even within Moladion, his presence had become fleeting for some time and then it had gone completely. It was only of slight concern to him. Zelda made for a fine leader regardless of whether or not Hyrule was still orchestrating from afar.

'Outline your terms, Alistair, and it shall be.' He was somewhat intrigued by the fact that Eden was being rather short this day, unlike the last time where he had been curious, talkative even. Was the older male uncomfortable with his presence here, or was something else on his mind? And still something about the scents in the air and the scents that clung to Eden himself tugged at him, as if there was something that he needed to put together. The scent that had clung to the half-chewed berries, the poisoned deer, the disturbed bush where it was clear the attacker had hidden... it had been so faint, almost imperceptible. But there was something, a hunch he supposed, that it belonged here.

Alistair's eyes narrowed slightly, but he did not make the accusation. Not yet. He felt as though he needed more proof, something more substantial than a hunch. What if it happened that he was wrong? Eden was distracted, perhaps enough to let something slip. The male let his face soften. "I suppose the standard. Mutual support and trust, a guarantee of peace between our packs and a rallying cry against our enemies." Alistair's white eyes remained focused on Eden's as he spoke, a neutral mask covering any emotion that he might be feeling. "And should a wolf from either pack commit a slight against the other, some form of punishment must follow. There is, after all, a modicum of understanding between our packs in that regard."

The younger male quirked an eyebrow. "Or so I would hope."
